ahh the forbidden friut should not be forbidden ! It should be recomended !
Well for the last couple of days I have been doing other things than fishing , I have been trying to help my father find an elk (american indian name wapita) but no luck so far . The season ends in 3 days so after that I'll be trying to catch some more of those fall chinook salmon .

My current favourite remains with Guinness Stout and a dark Leffe...see pic-inset.

My classmate living up in Edmonton enjoys spending a week to 10 days just to bring in a Moose... he has several heads hung above his driveway when I last went over. I would like to hunt again for an elusive Moose...only without the Remington, just with a SLR digicamera would be a smashing sporting challenge put to the stamina test in hanging on to the search and find for a jungle retreat!!!

Here's an exceptional for a sleek & careful "bottoms UP"!!!

I usually hunt with a bow . It is a lot more challenging , and when I get a bull to bugle back & come in to my calls , that is the most enjoyable & exciting part . well today I had to go to work but I stopped for a few minutes after work & caugt a smaller chinook salmon (estimate about 22 -23 pounds ) Maybe tomorrow I can get a larger one, the largest chinook I've caught is a 45 pounder, I want to break that someday,I know they have caught 65 pounders around here (last year even) and my brothers father -in-law"s cousin holds the record on one of the rivers here for regular tackle, 84 pounds. definately a sleek drink holder you have there

Love fishing out in the sea and since I am only 10 minutes away from the gulf, it's a given.

Fresh grouper, snapper and lobster...............ohhhhhhhhhh yeah!!

Hey MD, u're fishing with the right kind of line I'm hooked on with that wide ocean facing your bay...

Is there room for a small company of deep sea anglers to join ya should we someday cruise by your port???

I'm game in grappling that tug of war reeling those big marlins in....oh yeahhh!!!

hi moneyduck , I am close to the ocean too, only 10 minutes to the docks in the bay from my home ,but the waters around here are a little more frigid. Usually in August the waters will warm up enough to bring tuna this far north (usually about 30 miles from shore)

I haven't seen anything new in here for a while , if I knew how to post a picture from my files I would put up an old picture of a 45 pound salmon I caught . Well someday I will take the time to figure it out maybe but not until I have to learn how to
