UAE and some others gulf countries to reval

I read that on "gulf news" dated monday sep 10- 2007. some financial experts expect that to take place in order to curb inflation esp in United Arab Emirates.
Also they are talking the possibility of currency union scheduled in 2010 between gulf countries as well. The newspaper went on saying that hopes light up for GCC to reval their currency esp Quatar and UAE.
Since I am not good at understanding economic stuff I was just wondering how that will affect IRAQI dinars esp the policy for one united currency?
