Don't bother....it's the same old hype and BS that used to stink up this place.

Disgraceful would be to publicly display the new forum URL. Out of respect for Marek and the members of RolClub, this information is being kept to PM's only.
I have been a member of RC for quite some time, and have seen it all my friend. The members who went on to another forum did so of their own free will, as is their right.
I am about as neutral as a person could be. RC is my home. I have visited the "new" forum and quite frankly do not like the feel of it. Too many mods have been created. Too much hype about events that are always "about" to happen. That element is gone from here and it is quite refreshing. I hope the best for them and us.
I am not recruiting for anyone, simply passing along requested information.
Thank you for your reply.

Interesting,
As with all forums, you will find your favorites which best suit you and your personality, and this is where you will stay, where you are comfortable. Such is life, no sense arguing over it or making comments about others who were family here from start, that is just the way it goes in the forum world.
Good luck and health to all, Mike
Mike,
I hear what your are saying. I am registered on 3 forums, and participate at all of them. I feel like this is home, this is where i made friends, this is where i had a lot of fun, and this is where i plan on trying to still participate.
I hope others can do the same.

A thousand 'Amens' to that. Advisor Mods, Control Mods...etc. etc. Too much fanfare about what's going to be posted later by so and so. It's like an attempt to create anticipation and bolster membership numbers.
example:
"I just got off the phone with ******. I hate to be the one to break the band news to you all, but the WiFi System where he is staying is down and he will not be able to make his post tonight. He will attempt to make that post as soon as he can tomorrow!"
Small amount of info I have says it did open to Foreign investment on 8/2/07. As my more recent comments about it stated, not much changes. All procedures are the same as 8/1/07. I did expect a small "bump" up in stock values, but overall it was fairly flat. We have seen some good solid increases the past several weeks. I suppose the impression was that once the ISX "opened" to Foreign investment it would be like Ameri-Trade or the NYSE. All this really means is the proxy companies and the brokers want to transfer current stocks certs to us investors. You still have to go through the same procedure that us "old timers" went through in order to purchase stock. That's why we didn't see a flood of new investors on the first day. The big money players are yet to come. Remember, very wealthy and rich people got there from hard work and lots of research (or birthright or luck). They don't need to "gamble". All they have to do is wait until HCL and stability show real progress.
To be honest, I think a slow steady influx of investors will pave the way for a stable stock exchange. This is the ultimate "penny stock" opportunity. But remember terrorists are trying to destroy the country, thus this is an extremely risky venture. When more security is achieved and the electronics are in place, the stocks should gain greater ground. I'm just happy the whole thing is still alive. Let's nurse it along and pray for peace.
I believe we can close this one too in relation to Aug 2.
