I am by no means a high roller, heavy hitter, etc. But over the years I have accumulated an amount of dinars as per above.
Additionally, about a year ago I decided to hedge my bets by purchase of a milion shares of bank stocks. At that time, it was all I was willing/able to risk, considering the fact it was via Warka proxy and the situation on ground. Now, with the additional progress I feel we've made over there, if I had more resources that I could allocate towards this investment, I would buy up EVERY share of stock available today!!
I imagine there are hordes of wealthy investors just waiting until A) it is legal to invest and B) they get just enough confidence in Iraq's future to satisfy their risk/reward requirements.
Iraq is not a HYIP, it is not a corporation suffering losses..it is not an IPO with visions of wealth...it is a country positioned to be the hub of wordly wealth. It's future is being supplemented by world powers that will not take no for an answer..it is in the 'big plan' of these controlling powers that Iraq becomes a strong, rich and free nation and IT WILL HAPPEN, regardless of what you might think might happen IYHO.
This is not a bash, just a reminder that there are many highpowered investors salivating for the moment they can enter into the ISX and make huge profits as Iraq enters into prosperity.

Good post! We hear more of the great opportunities in Iraq through these forums than main stream media which could be a concern. We also have to have hope that the violence can be controlled or even stopped. This is not a guarantee. Are there enough troops or not? What happens when troop levels are lowered? Will it take months, years or decades for changes to take effect? Let us all hope for the best.
