My fault I just get salty when people talk trash. Dude its on the internet. He can talk tough though. By the way I like your saying at the bottom of your posts about the clip.
Mike (OSW) also missed out on the Kuwait Dinar RV...was advised against it, but a few of his friend still bought it and made a nice profit :flame:...maybe he'll share more if he sees this.
Thanks Tiff
I think I remember Mike (OSW) saying he did make some out of it, just not near as much as some of his friends.

thanks
Interesting,
Yes, my associates sunk a lot more than I had at the time into Kuwaiti dinar, and they are both millionaires, poor me, I ended up a six figure thousandaire, but at least I didn't pass on it like most did. If you were on the ground in Kuwait, you may have seen rates go as high as mentioned on the street, but I never saw it. We bought in when it hit a dime which was its lowest point that I was aware of.
I am not complaining for it set me up to watch this Iraq dinar which is why we are all here now, so look at all the winners we will see come from a 17 year old lesson on world economics. (g) Yes, I kicked myself for not putting more into it at the time, but you have to realize, all the experts were advising against it, and most didn't take a shot, but I am glad I put a little into it for I would really be kicking myself if I hadn't. The best investments are usually the ones we didn't invest in, and more than a few times I learned this lesson the hard way. You will never become wealthy if you don't take the risks.
Good luck and health to all, Mike
This is very encouraging. In the 3 years I have been holding dinar and bouncing around forums it has always been a friend of a friend that told someone that they know someone who made money on the Kuwaiti dinar. I usually take such anecdotal evidence with a grain of salt. Been waiting to hear it first hand.
Thanks Mike!
Hey Mike You sound like me ---always missing out on things that I should have Paid more attention too. Investing in stocks that climbed high then Plummeted to below purchase prices. I am confident that My 500,000 Plus IQD will be comming through one of these days. Just sitting back doing other Biz. Projects. If they both come through I will be one happy camper, and set for the rest of my life. I have been trying for 50 Years of my life. to hit the right investment. Now Here I am 66 years old -retired--and still living like I did as a younger man---Looking for the right thing. Hope this Puppy comes Home with a nice HIGH RV. BOB
Mike,
Do you still keep in contact with your associates from Desert Storm?
If so, what did they do with all their millions?
None of my business but it would be interesting what they bought or invested in.
Maybe give us some clues what to do with our new found wealth.
Yes,
Both are in oil business, and not desert storm, and one is still in Kurdistan, so yes, we keep in close contact and this is how I learned about the recently announced oil reserves discovered over a year ago which I mentioned here last year.
I knew Iraq would end up number one in proven oil reserves over Saudi Arabia almost three years ago based on his insiders knowledge which I would never doubt. In fact, he recently reported that this is just the tip of the iceberg and believes that in less than a year they will make announcement of another major reserve with an additional proven reserves of 300B barrels, so this should bode well for Iraq in the long term as everyone scambles to get a piece this near billion barrel bounty.
As to what I invest in, I research alternative energy investments, so when Iraq dinar finally sees restoration, my money will go into hydrogen power which hopefully will allow us all to cut off our dependency on oil entirely. This has been my focus for years and believe we are now closer than ever to seeing our vehicles run on hydrogen and our homes powered by the same technology. I have been running my vehicles on hydrogen mix for almost two years, so keep an eye on this industry. Amazing, we will make a killing because of oil with dinar, and then we can make another killing by not using oil. (g)
Good luck and health to all, Mike
Hi Mike,
Thanks for the investment information.
Much appreciated.
OW,
Thanks for the insight and info! :ro_emote:

Hi, I guess like everything its all going to be in the timing. I really believe Iraq will be very very wealthy one day I too figured they had more then the Saudi's from reports about the yearly increase the Saudi's are using of water pumped into their wells to maintain pressure. Added the number one slot for gas and their desire to return to world economics and be one of the big boys playing (Trade agreements with countries WTO ISX Etc)we're going to be laughing. I'm currently buying up small cap oil stocks on the London Aim market with such groups as the Builderberg group and some economists and Oil experts saying oil could easily go over a hundred and following the peak oil theory I believe oil companies over the next few years are going to be making vast sums of money. Its going to be getting the timing right from switching over from Oil shares to the New alternate companies (Though starting now and building a position is going to stand me in good steed) Thanks for all the posts would be very good to see a oil thread to talk about such things in more detail as you and I'm sure others will have allot more knowledge about such things Thanks again for all the great info you provide.
PS Don't know if you can confirm but I've heard rumblings to watch trade agreements with Iraq and Europe the relationship between the two etc etc as Iraq is the number one source for Natural Gas and the problems Europe has had with it's supply from Russia any thoughts??
Interesting,
Russia has always been of interest and having invested in oil through Yukos, did well, and got out when the word was Putin was going to hijack the private oil industry and return it to state control. Sad day for investors in Russian companies as there is no longer any security and risk factors are a little too high for my blood.
Rosnet looked good when it went on open market, but with what we saw with supply line restrictons halting flow to Ukraine and into Europe, makes you wonder what Putin is up to, but it can't be good for Europe, or anywhere else in my opinion. Thank goodness I didn't invest, Rosnet is off all because of Putin's setting up Mikail's largest private oil company with tax evasion charge and locking him up for 8 years in Siberia for opposing him politically. Putin's gestopo operatives has ended any thoughts of safe investing in Russian companies.
Good luck and health to all, Mike
Offshore-Wealth.com,
Thanks for the reinforcement!
Yep, that is ironic isn't it Mike. Kinda funny that the rest of the developing world (i.e. China, India, etc.) are going to push oil through the roof with their large populations, while advances to alternative energy are being made within the G8 countries. Ironic or planned? Anyhow, I think the delay we are seeing in alternative energy sources is simply the G8 countries waiting for the underdeveloped countries to become dependent upon oil instead of switching to alternative energy sources right off the bat. Wouldn't be economically beneficial to us if the developing countries made a technological leap frog, so to speak. Kinda like going straight to cell phones instead of installing all of the land lines like we have in America and elsewhere. I mean think of all the jobs and infrastructure costs that they wouldn't have to pay, like we did..... Hmm, maybe I shouldn't be saying this outloud...
Agreed,
We have all been converted to oil junkies, so it only makes sense that big oil has had its way at our expense, so they have a good deal going for themselves manipulating oil supplies to control prices. Now they have us all right where they want us, dependent on oil like never before, and to think we had all these warning over the years, yet all were ignored. Makes me sick, so this is why I have and will continue my quest for alternative energy, and no matter how you look at it, Hyrdogen Fusion is answer to energy and ending pollution.
Good luck and health to all, Mike
When the RV finally does happens, I'm gonna buy the biggest gas guzzler I can find.
It is my understanding that we could be able to have a power box the size of a standard refrigerator that could power, heat, and cool our homes using hydrogen extracted from of all things water. No more power lines, LP, or oil to power and keep us safe in our homes.
Again, if enough people could come together to pool our profits from the IQD alone we could make this come about. The only problem is I would NOT share it with the world! We as a nation must rebuild our factories, manufacturing, and bring back the quality of “Made In The U.S.A.”! :ro_emote:
DesertWolf
I like it, too but it raises a lot of problems for the government. Right now, they have control of our power. We need a permit to do any work, and to erect new buildings. This provides a mechanism to ensure that all wiring is properly done and safe - they inspect it and make sure of that. If it's not "up to code", they will not turn on the power. That's how they enforce it all. If there is a new device that they cannot control, people will do stupid things and burn down their houses, electrocute themselves, etc. Then, they'll blame the government.
Good point,
There are already several hydrogen fuel cells for power, unfortunately, they are too costly for most, so commercial back up is about the extent of market at this time. I would have converted years ago if not for the price. For most, there has to be a reasonable return on investment, and at this point it is not feasable.
What is feasable is a self generating hydrogen system which is less costly than every other alternative energy device currently on market. We hope to have home units on market once we get our hydragen fusion vehicle conversions completed, so it is just a matter of time, and when the RV happens, that is exactly where I am putting my money to work, to end oil dependency once and for all. (g)
Good luck and health to all, Mike
You talk about alternative enery. Have you ever seen the movie "Who killed the electric car"? This movie is very informative about alternative enery and oil. If you have HBO, you can order it on their indemand or go to whokilledtheelecticcar.com check it out.
But didn't our own Government kill it with the rediculous prices and then not honor the rebates for the purchases? If I am right, our Oil dependency will be here for a very long time yet to come, (Our Lifetime anyways) base on our own Governments Greed for Oil $$$$.
It was a combination of our Government, the Auto Industry and the big Oil Companies. When they saw that the people would love this idea, they saw that they wouldn't make money in the way that they are making it now. It would cause us the people to become non dependent on oil. Check out the movie it explains alot. In my opinion even one of the reasons we are in Iraq today.
Isnt it the demand for a product that caused it to go into production and the more it sells, the lower the price in the long run? Not long ago I paid $82. / Meg for 4 strips of memory that totaled 16 Megs of RAM for the cost of $1,312. When I sold that RAM I only got $40. and counted my blessings. Today I can get a new computer with all the bells for that price and it comes with a Gig of RAM.
As soon as it gets on the market, it will sell very high. However, over time the price will come down and more versions will be manufactured bring the cost down to the point everyone will be able to afford. Remember when people were amazed that you had a home computer? Now every member of the family has one!
DesertWolf
I am in the Automobil Industry. I even see the prices of the Hybirds Now. Less of a vehicle and more dollars again to purchase one. I havent seen the clip but have seen others on the subject. Which did explain of the rebates offord were never given. I will see this one too.
And you are right about making us less Oil dependant from the pass of the invention. They would not stand for it, right. Which is why we are going to be Oil dependant threw out our life time. Now us as individuals will have to start the grain our selves to become undependant. It is my opinion and I will see the clip you provided. Thanks.
Neno,
But if we can cut back on our oil needs at home won't that mean that we can have more fuel for our vehicles?
DesertWolf
You would think so, but basically anything we don't use, China, India, and the rest of the world will. The oil is going to get used up quickly no matter what we do to stretch it out. The best thing we can do is to acknowledge this, plan ahead and implement alternatives as quickly as possible. "quick" in terms of changing the fuel basis for a country the size of ours is something on the order of years to decades even if we knew which way to go and how to do it. Which we don't.
