Thread: Did the ISX open or is the site just been updated?

I dont know anything about the ISX but the site has come up so, what does this mean for our reval if anything Discuss.....

Benzboy, the ISX has been open for awhile but did have some site changes with the possibility of it going electronic and being open to foreign investors soon. There were rumors that it might open up today electronically to foreign investors but that didnt happen. Some people state that the RV is linked to the ISX being open to the foreign investors but your guess is as good as mine to that.

I think we are still waiting for some definate evidence of this. The level of trading although does not support something wide open. I am sure it will be huge once it does open up to non-Iraqi citizens. People are chomping at the bit to get in.

I agree the volume for today sure doen't indicate any non-iraqi involvement.

If you go to that page and click on "Current Bulletin" it shows the trades for the day. A grand total of only 263 trades. I don't think that it is open to foreigners just yet and that would mean the reval would not have had to take place yet. At least that is the way I read this.

Any comments and/or clarification would be most welcome.

This is a Question and not a Rumor or Prediction. We all ready have a ISX Rumor Thread under RollsRoyce that this can be asked in. Thanks-neno
