There is nothing immoral or unethical about business if it is done with the proper perspective. After all, the business of the capitalist world is business and it is the only means of creating wealth. It really erks me when people are against profits and especially when they express hatred toward the rich and powerful just because they are poor.
The fact most legal and illegal aliens want to come to the USA is a statement about opportunity and freedom. The fact that the US Congress has not protected our freedom here by allowing far more immigrants than our future can care for and contain while preserving opportunities and freedom is a fact of life we will all live to regret.
The 1971 switch from the Gold Standard to the Oil Standard was done for a purpose. Many may not agree with it, but then far too many people have allowed Robin Hood Economics to be a world standard and that is what is breaking the banks around the world.
No, there is nothing immoral about business and paying off debt. In fact, if Bush pulls this off with the Iraqi's and others in the middle east and with the help of those who are participating, the Iraqi people will know freedom.
Will they be smart enough to follow the winds of changes or will they buck the winds and disallow peace and freedom to their people?
We should all be aware that Capitalism is the exchange of wealth for wealth and profit and that we must guard against the three cancers of Capitalism which are: Greed, Graft and Corruption, but we should never put down Capitalism if we want to enjoy the opportunities afforded by those who make them possible.
The RV will pay the money back that has been forgiven with profits to all those who have allowed Iraq to open their markets with this kind of potential. Is it wrong for all of these countries to profit off of Iraq's Market Potential within the world economic system? No! So why should it be immoral if the United States can recoup the monetary cost of an expensive war. It at least justifies in some way the blood spilled to give Iraq a chance to be free and democratic; even if within the confines of Islam's permitted parameters.
Yes, Iraq and Afghanistan is and was about terrorism and if Iran has to be challenged, that will also be about a petty dictator and a mob of hoodlums who threaten world peace still. What a shame Iran does not have reasonable leadership. I would be purchasing their currency. Likewise Chavez of Venezuela. Here is another country based on So******m that will not profit until they change their attitude. So, don't fault Bush for profits to pay for what the world should have stepped in and took care of while sharing the burden of expense to eliminate a petty dictator.
Thats my Two Cents! Now, lets see the RV. (NEXT WEEK would be wonderful) Yesterday would have been better, but I am patient.:ro_emote:
