Room full of people......Fur is flying..........Hummmmmm
It seems like a few Members here New, and old, Need to READ the TOS and need to take a cold shower! to many of you people are trying to Disrupt the thread with non esential accusations.:nono: Name calling:nono: and just short of all out War against each other:nunu::nono:. This will be MY Last Warning to the Ones who continue to fuel this crap. I will notify ADMIN of the disent here. It is definately uncalled for. :fryingpan:nunu::nono:BOB:cool:
Here, Here.... RR, SGS Kudos............I can't imagine anyone who's into this complaining about rumor updates. This situation has been more than qualified on more than one occasion. Take it for what its worth, gauge it, sift it but do not drown it.
The timing for this rumor is excellent based on the actual news reports so hang in there. I'm expecting something to happen here but if not I'm still very optimistic on this investment/ I think this is over with soon.
So Thank you SGS and RR for contributing and for taking the heat...you got to have stones to take the heat.......
hey gang Now thats Better. thank you. BOB
We should all be grateful for such a wonderful poster as RR!!!
I would also like to send out a special pat on the back to SGS! What would RC be without you?
reality?????
the trouble makers need to find another forum to trash, not this one. we dont need them.:nono::nono::nono::nono:
It seems to be a very thin line between being a "trouble maker" and someone offering a descending opinion. Until we reach the end of this train ride, who is to say what is right or wrong, what is rumor or fact?
RC has rules to be followed just as anywhere else. But these rules do allow for alot of room for disagreement. The definition of a "trouble maker" seems to be highly selective these days depending on the eye of the beholder.
Okay, how do I answer this so as not to add fuel to any fire that's erupted here. I am not having a go at you for the rumour (I've said it before on here that I love rumours because they're fun and keeps one entertained but they're only fun if you take them with a grain of salt and not go beyond your means). I was only questioning the way you went about it. I've read of a few cases where someone was losing their house, or people having to sell off dinar to pay bills etc which tells me that people do actually buy into this investment when they really can't afford to maintain or offset the expense. No-one on here is going to admit that they've spent more than they can afford to lose for fear of being called an *****. There are also young and impressionable investors (college students) etc in this. All I was saying to you and anyone who posts rumours to bear these people in mind. Just in case you might be thinking I may fall into this category, I assure you I am not. I bought into this investment with a plan that I would have the balance paid off within a couple of months of purchase and that has been done. So remember, not having a go at you or the rumour but the way you do it. There's a difference. I grant you that you do post some great articles and I am thankful for them. Peace.
To simplify the whole situation:
Rumors were stated that have been confirmed from multiple sources. Some get excited, some get defensive. Either way, it is information that was politely disclosed and even the original posters are having to enter into this bickering battle of who is right. My point is - who cares?!? Let the rumor be just that - a rumor. Thank you SGS and RR for sharing, and please continue to do so.
See - I can say that with out even taking a side, mentioning an M2, or jumping on a jet to FL! Lol. There have been at least 3 threads so far on this forum (more on the others) because people cannot just let a rumor be a rumor.
And finally, at least give the rumor (any rumor for that matter) time to play out before bickering over it being wrong. This whole thing has given me a headache.
RR . . . Thank you for your informative posts. I (and many others) appreciate you (SGS & the others) sharing the info that you receive as many of us don't have any contacts for dinar. Don't pay attention to the negative comments, people should just be happy that you share what you hear. We're all here for the same reason. Here's to a June ('07) Reval......

I respectfully disagree, HH. Anyone here who makes a decision to put themselves at financial risk based upon a rumor needs therapy, an intervention, or rehab. We're not here to be anyone's parent. It's not SGS or RR or an other posters concern to "protect people from themselves. It's just like all the people who took out adjustable rate mortgages a few years ago, and who are now losing their homes to foreclosure. They made a decision and it turned out to be the wrong decision. I'm sure many people here will make bad decisions even when we get our reval. Think about all the lottery winners who are broke within a few years of winning. It's a shame, but it's not out problem. I, for one, welcome any information about our investment. And I don't change my position based on a rumor. :nono:
I entered this investment with a ten year plan, if it pays off this year I will be greatful! I have only invested what I can afford to loose and have covered all bases with cash on hand, in warka and on the stocks. So heres hoping! I have even got dong! Just on case!
May as well turn off the 'puter till Sunday morning.....
See ya then.
This posting by jpadrino is well said, the same people who buy on the rumors are the same ones who trash everyone involved with the rumor if it doesn’t pan out. The mentality of these people are the same kind who make a choice to eat at McDonald’s for their breakfast, lunch, and dinner and then sue the restaurant because they turn into big tubs of lard. They refuse to take responsibility for their own decisions. They have an entitlement mentality and when it doesn’t work out they vent on to anyone they can. I too, like all the information I can get and if RR or SGS have something that could be promising I appreciate them sharing it with the rest of us.
Thanks Jpadrino and I totally appreciate and acknowledge your argument. You are correct in that we are not here to babysit anyone foolish enough to get themselves into trouble financially. However, I hear time and time again here at RC that we are all a family and here for the same purpose. Then why not go the extra mile. When I told other family members about this investment, we had a lengthy conversation about it - the pros and cons etc. I cautioned them that whatever decision they took, that they should understand that it is a risk and to have a safety net if it didn't pan out (eg can they maintain it, can they write it off it it fails, will it put a squeeze on their living costs etc), and if the answer was still yes they can, then its their money and their decision. This is what I am getting at. Family members and friends do that for each other. Most people only see the end result of being rich only and not the financial stamina to wait it out. Anyway I respect your opinion.

when I started this thread some 17 pages ago, I asked a question on peoples thoughts about RR's prediction. I am not a naysayer, I am very much a positive person and have purchased an enormous amount of dinar, over the last three years. I was hoping that RR would come on the thread and be able to tell us something more definative since his couple days had come and gone. I realize that we are dealing with a goverment that marches to there own drum and nothing or no one can say for certainty that the reval is a done deal till they actually come out and do it. And to believe any differently is so setting yourself up for a major disappointment. I think we are close to a reval I do not know this as a fact , nor would I ever state this as a fact. but I do think we are close.

The LOI that was submitted in April did not involve a par value change but rather monetary policy adjustments. The CBI is moving to recapitalize and has notified the IMF of their intent. If the CBI (Shabibi) has indeed signed a "revalue" LOI it would in fact be a Par Value change in accordance with Schedule C of the IMF Articles of Agreement. The Par Value change would require a "yea" vote of at least 85% of the member countries.
well looks like they beemed it back!!
[qu te=ozizoz;210386]Nothing happened to me . . .I was here the whole time. I got a little too caught up in things and decided to step back and lurk for a while. I knew it was time to start posting again when I heard a rumor that I was dead LOL
Thanx for the kind thoughts!!! [/quote]
