i have a question. or for those of you playing at home,.....yet another round of......YOU GUESSED IT........HUMOR THE IGNORANT.

i was just wondering,( meaningful pause) when this does reval, how will they make it known to the world? will it be a huge deal, with the press there? very cerimonial. will there be cake?

or, (i totally just started a sentence with "or") will it be under the radar? kinda stuck in with with a bunch of other paperwork that needs signed for that day?

would they benefit from doing it, one way over the other?

I'm predicting a small blip in the news. Any good financial news is hardly worth mentioning, (especially if its from Iraq) but bad news denotes cries of the end of the world.

IMHO..I think it will be broadcasted late at night on some obscure news site that Iraq has r/v. Most news broadcasts are either bashing the republicans or only taking up air time for bad news across the world. If rumors are true about the US holding a huge stash of dinar and the comments that Bush would have the war paid for are true, then this will be a very silent r/v. In this case I can see winning the war in Iraq, but the democrats would have lost the war against the republicans. I'm not going to get into a political battle over this comment but that is the way I feel about it. There is one thing that I would love to see on TV, is all the big investment companies and bashers of the Iraqi dinar at a table gathered together crying in there bowl of milk explaining why, with so much knowledge, they were wrong.

That would be a cool thing to see, I have to admit. And I do think when the Iraqi currency revalues, it will come from other sources, such as those linked to the CBI, as SD was that Monday when all hell-o broke loose.

I don't completely disagree, I think if ANY media covers it it will be FoX. The rest will just have egg on their faces.

OH, I believe it will be mentioned by all major news sources because it is a BIG deal! I have always been worried why mainstream financial experts and the media for the most part don't talk about the r/v happening.

I don't CARE how it is announced! word will get out about it. I just want a good High RV. and a good stiff drink. I havent had a good stiff drink in 25 years, but this will be worth falling off the Wagon!
