    Default wives!!!

How's this for smart?!!! My hubby agreed in Jan. to go ahead and buy 1/4 mil. dinar then, 2 months later, with some money that came back to me after Shell oil ruined my fuel pump I snuck to chase and bought another 1/4 mil. Ever since then, I have been buying 10000 here, 50000 there, and he doesn't even know we have a little over a million!!!or depending on how you look at it!!!

Today, I told him that I want to buy a landmark building that was our town library and turn it in to an internet cafe!!! He looked at me like-HUH?

(oh, yeah...i bought 1 mil. dong with some income tax refund we got.)
Habakkuk 2:2-3 Then the LORD answered me and said: “ Write the vision And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

This thread is kinda making me feel pretty lucky - - lucky that I have NO HUBBY at this point. No offense to all the hubbies out there (I fully intend to have another one some day :) :) but nobody to tell me how to do what needs to be done. Being single is a definite plus sometimes!

Yep, forgot those. Thanks for the sense of humor. Seems as we are close, but who knows.

    Good Evening All,

I too, shook like a leaf on the tree. My 16 year old son and I have talks all the time about sudden wealth, he is probably more prepared than I. He knows he will have a budget that will be like his job. He will have a car that is paid for, but he will continue to make payments to himself until he has matched the price of the car, that goes for his insurance as well. Although, the insurance premium will be paid, he will have to make a payment to himself like the car note. He will not be able to touch this account until he fully understands financial responsibility. After the insurance and the car payment, he will have to budget his daily meals at school, the clothing he likes to wear, his weekend activities and most of all the funds he spend on a young lady. He knows above all, if after his bills are paid, purchased an outfit or two, movies with the boys, dates with the girls and if he come up short at the end of the month and needs money for gas, he's walking until he gets paid again on the first. He is a very disciplined young man and I purchased 3 books on cassette that were recommended to me from a friend I met here in the RC. The books are "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", "Cashflow Quadrant" and "Guide to Investing" all of which were written by Robert T. Kiyosaki and Sharon L. Lechter/CPA. He has gone through them at least twice and I have at least once.

My big thing will be to invest globally and in commodities. Everytime I see a different RV rate, I adjust the amount that I will put forth into these investments. The church is a given...because without the all mighty God and Lord Jesus, the savior of all man, this would not be possible. My dreams are big, but not too big for my bank account.

I was talking to some friends the other day and they were talking about "old money". I told them I don't have old money and will never have it, the money that I am prepared to have will be NEW money, and eventually become old money to my son and his children and his children's children. I have worked my entire adult life and if there is a way I can keep that from happening to the rest of my legacy, you best believe, I will do all it takes to make that happen. Smart spending and investing it properly, will turn the new money into old money.
"The ulimate measure of man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." --Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Actually that is the best thing to do first!!! To prevent blowing it all you must have a plan. I am a Network Engineer, not a financial planner. I can setup a network no problem. Managing millions.....I have no experience in that. So I am going right to a professional. I have a financial planner in the family (he's my brother, so I won't use him...), but he told me the first thing you do is set yourself up for a monthly or annual income with a professional advisor.

    Here's my quick financial plan....

    1. Pay tithes to the church.
    2. See a financial planner.
    3. Make sure my families future is taken care of.
    4. Make sure the initial "fun" money is no more than 10% of my total return.
    5. Plan for taxes.
    6. Oh yeah almost forgot....show up to work in a robe, bunny slippers, tie, unshaven, underwear...and turn in my 2 week notice and take an immediate 2 week vacation.
    7. Home by 10 pm.

    Wink The Big Plan

we all have our plans, here is mine:
go to Miami open an account and Cash in!
Pay off most of my bills. That will take a a small bit!
I will plan a trip for my family to Australia, my 20 year old has a girl there he has been communicating with on the internet for 4 years and wants to meet, so why not take the whole family. I know there will be other trips in the future but that is one I have to do for my son right away!
    Find a financial investor.
build a pool in my back yard, the one I want!
I think if I work it right I should be able to live comfortably off the interest every month.
If it happens this summer, then I really dont need to go back to work in the fall teaching. Unless I get bored, which I dont see for a while!
I want to bring my oldest son back home and pay for his schooling here in Florida.
I think just being dept free for a bit will be nice!
Maybe I will open a little coffee and sandwich cafe here in Rockledge. there are so many new Dr. Offices that just popped up and they would need an old country pumpernickle or rye sandwich. Off course I would hire High school kids that are in the Culinary Arts program.
    well thats just a start
    !

hmmm, well what do you know!!! I will share what happened to me as I went to check out an old historic building that I thought would be PERFECT for an internet cafe. I posted this on another forum....but here it is:

O.k. people...Here's my rant for the day.
I have a dream to start an internet cafe. There is a historic building that is an old library, it just closed down. I can see it-it's perfect...2 story, coffee galore, and computers all around with free internet, groovy sofas/chairs...music.....So, I go to our town hall. The parish owns it since Katrina and they couldn't fund restoration for the library...The man said:

"What, do you want to BUY it? It's a HISTORIC LANDMARK, YOU WILL NEED A LOT OF MONEY."

"Uh, YEAH!! Duh-like what are we talking here??? So I know what I'm looking at!!!" (dream-killer)

    "at least 1.5 mill."

Oh, really.. I think to myself-I need at least 2 mil. more in Dinar, and then I will be back with a VENGEANCE!!!!

Ah, and the name of it will be "Cool D's cyber cafe." (in case any of you are ever in the area.)

If your town is like the home of the *******, the Historical society will be on your back everytime you try to change or add to the structure. Nice looking place I think.

I know, I thought of that. But, hey!!! I am gonna pursue it (without money to invest!! Some others told me that there's grant money available for WE WOMEN who are starting our own businesses!! I never KNEW that!!!)

I feel like singing "I feel like a woman....duh, de, de duh duh de de!"
