Sometimes I think the outback of Australia is probably better informed that parts of the good old USA.

I have info. on Wells Fargo in the RV in June Thread. They are only worth dealing with when buying the VND. Rate $72.88 as of Tues. With Dinar they are out of the loop, and don't want to be in the loop anytime soon.

With all of the different stories that we receive from sooooo many different banks, I have some crazy visuals for when this thing finally does RV. I can see a bunch of crazy smiling people (me included), carrying tons of colorful currency, scurrying around like an anthill that has just been stepped on. Running from Chase to BofA to Wachovia to Wells Fargo...etc etc, occasional stops at the local interenet cafe to see what someone else heard from their bank. Then go to whatever that bank is, and scream at the bank manager spouting off a lot of really weird names that told them that there was no charge to exchange dinar.

    OH GOSH I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

I can imagine it, too!!!! "Cyberkhan and Mom2TWO SAID YOU'RE bank exchanged dinars. Shotgunsusie-too."
Habakkuk 2:2-3 Then the LORD answered me and said: “ Write the vision And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

ME: LOOK, Cooldolphins, Rolls Royce, and SGS all said that you will give me millions for these dinars.
    BM: What the?
ME: So, are you going to ship these off, or credit my account immediately?
BM:Okay, I agree that dolphins are cool, and I too like Rolls Royces, but what is an SGS??
ME: I have been waiting for an rv for years, and it finally happened. Just log onto ROL and see for yourself...even Adster and Wm.Knowles agree!....well, Adster may or may not be there....he may be back at the "dark side" check over there!!
BM: picks up phone and calls security....

ugh, then all of my dinars are paying for bail money!!

Sorry it's taken so long to get back here. It's been busy at work.

This is really confusing. I called them twice. Once in the a.m. and once last night about 8:00. I did not call my local bank. I called the Main 1-800 number. I can give it to you if you like.

I was told by 2 different people that Wachovia will exchange for me as long as I'm a customer. Hmmmmmm. I wonder if their policy has recently changed.

I specifically asked the girl if she may need to switch me over to "Foreign Currency Dept" and she said she could help. Then when I asked her my question, she told me she had to check. I assume she checked with a "higher-up." Then she came back and told me what I posted.

I don't know. I even asked if she knew when the reval would take place. She said no.

Burst my bubble. I must say, my bubble has splatted all over the place so many times and so hard in my life that this would be nothing...nothing at all. If you want, you can call them. I'll give out the number, but perhaps I should PM that information. I don't know. Just passing on what they told me.

Listen, I'm NO huge investor and I don't pretend to be. I was just curious to see what my bank would say if I inquired. I thought y'all might be interested in what they said. Skin me alive if you want - I can take it.

I didn't ask for any rates. I'll give you the number - - in a PM. Let me get it out of my purse .... it's a jungle in there.....

What you say makes sense. They didn't mention that to me and I didn't know to ask. So that very well may be the deal. Ugh!! I'm over my head I think. Thanks for the info Neno. Sure hope this ride is over soon.
