sorry thats 2145 in the evening here
Im not trying to burst anyones bubble Im just trying to prove a point that kawait never RVed officialy. I do believe in this investment and think its a very unique opportunity. Im just trying to explain that the whole thing about the kawait dinar RV never officialy happened in the bank records..... go ahead and prove me wrong. For someone new to the investment, im just letting people know how it is and how it happened. I was just asking SGS to give us examples of what countries out there made huge surges in movement from speculating on a countries currency. All I was trying to do is gain more knowlege....and here you come trying to put me down being the DINAR POLICE. Sorry if im not in the rv 1-1 camp ; however, i do believe it could open at a decent rate and move in the upward direction. I am entitled to my own opinion. A part of me also believes anything can happen. I know what im talking about when it comes to the whole kawait dinar situation, after 3 years of reading and research. I wish I can find some links, I will work on it. Sorry if it seemed like i was peeing in your cornflakes. :bringiton
Sorry I don't have the best spelling or sentence structure;however, you still get my point. This forum dosen't have spellcheck or else I would use it or maybe it does, I just don't know how. Why don't you contribute something instead of trying to put me down. Try posting something useful and maybe someone will listen to you!!
P.S Go tell that to Neno one of the best forum posters of information and see what he thinks.:mad3:
You can check your spelling by clicking the ABC with a Check Mark under it, it's on the right hand side of the message box.

I believe in this investment but I am still curious to know what other currencies have revalued and what kind of profits were made off it.

Iraq was in trouble with Saddam in charge and the dinar was worth about .30 in 2003.
Then we go in, get him out, help establish a government and all the multi-faceted aspects of restoring Iraq into what will become a booming society. If you research, you will find that a tremendous amount of development has already taken place and Iraq is beginning to be restored.
Remember when Chrysler was going belly up? Many investors dumped the stock and others grabbed it. Once Chrysler got help from outside sources, reorganized their debt..what happened? Did the stock go back up?
There is a MASSIVE amount of interest in the development of Iraq. At worst case, don't you think the dinar might possibly come back to say, half it's value in 2003? Or, how about if it goes to five cents..how much would you make? Bottom line, even though things could go very wrong, very quickly; I still believe the risk is getting minimized daily.
I have been dirt-poor a few times in my life and have had MANY opportunities to 'hit it big' with a variety of investments, but always hesitated. Just before I heard about the dinar I vowed to myself that the next time I get a tip that has some merit, after due diligence, if I can see the value of the risk/reward ratio..I will jump on it. Da Da, here comes the dinar and I could not convince myself that it would not go at least return to a nickle.
People seem fond of saying "invest only as much as you can afford to loose" and this is very sound advice. I've invested as much as I could afford, without loosing any other aspects of my life. Over the years, every time I re-evaluated the investment, I felt convinced the dinar would rebound..so, I stretched a little more, scraped up a few more bucks and bought again, and again, and again and again. Looking back, I think I went a bit crazy because if it goes to a penny..I am a millionare. It is crunch time. Nothing left to do now, but relax and let the medicine do it's thing.
If it flops, oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
CONCLUSION: Relax folks. Pounding on each other only prevents you from being ready to enjoy your profits, or being able to deal with the loss and go on to the next thing with a rational mind.
DinarTank, if you want comparisons, I'm sorry there aren't any. Why you ask? Well in looking back through Iraq's history you note that what has happened here if much different than with other countries which have rv'ed their currency. First Iraq started with a high currency something on the order to 1 IQD to $3.22, much like Kuwait is today. Then through the actions of a murderous dictator the currency was driven down to 1 IQD to $.30 and then in 2003 to something like 4000 IQD to $1.00. The IQD has been held down to artificial values from 1990 to present for one reason or another. But one thing remains the same, natural resources. Oil and natural, gas lots of it. In fact the world needs it now more than ever. And there are other reasons to believe the dinar will reval. Iraq has agriculture, water and an ability to establish a manufacturing based like none other in the middle east except for Israel. Given the natural resources at it's disposal I believe they will surpass Israel in the long term. There is so much more to this than just current events.
Nice post. I wish I could get some of that oil right now. Pulled up at the pump today and just said eeek as I pumped gas at $$2.91. I remenised back to when I I was a kid and pulled up to the pump and actually put $.25 into my gas tank. Well I hope that Iraq gets back on the road again and the currancy goes up.
