Has anybody noticed the large increase of whining lately? :nunu: :wigged:

Easy for you to say--I get half an hour a day to surf the web--that includes checking my email. Some days I'm lucky and can camp out for a couple of hours to get caught up, but most days I'm just looking at the last pages of the News thread and any rumor threads that look promising--like say for instance 'RV IN JUNE". It's not my favorite thing to open up a thread with such a promising title only to find people chatting.
So glad you have the luxury of camping out here and passing judgement on those, who like myself have limited time and resources to get caught up and try and catch a whiff of hope. Perhaps in the future you and the others who chime in with a "thanks" might consider looking beyond your experience and think of those of us who don't share your good fortune of seemingly unlimited internet access.
OrdinarySeaWoman, from an internet cafe in Guam...soon to be from a freakin slow computer on the USNS Shasta. Have Bombs, Will Travel.
BTW--that's nice about the camero, but what's the latest gossip on the DINAR??
Yea and telling us where to go? Gee i started this thread and if I didnt like it I would tell you where to go, hehehehehe. Keep on writing and when we have some real information then lets tell people where to go!:wigged::wigged: Enjoy the show!:party::banana::party:
Hello OSW, Nothing new has been going on in short. Just people chatting and learning about others having fun. this is the calm before the storm as you would call it. wish we could give youmore info in your 1/2 an hour! But everyone will send you a PM if anything happens and youwill spend all day reading those! Take care and stay safe!
Speaking of fixed or repaired daily, whats going on with all the extra thank yous' and buttons??
Oh geez been on the internet too long, i'm seeing double, triple, quadruple!
i was on the Mt Baker back in 88-89 when it was still active Navy. Them was the good ol days. Loved being the helmsman on bridgewatch! i bet driving is all computerized by now, i was a compass and wheel guy. Shoulda went merchant marine after i got out but oh well. Take care out there.
It sure would be nice if thread topics could stay on track. I agree. One thing I will say about the "dark side" is people over there do not have problems starting numerous threads. Here everyone seems to need to vent and chat whenever and wherever. Whatever. Anyway, I agree with OSW.
Thank you OSW, you took the words right out of my mouth. It's funny how some of these threads shoot way off-topic, and they don't get shut down if certain individuals are involved in the off-topic discussions. However, if your not a part of a certain group, the warnings come out and posts are deleted or moved.
I think it's time to hold all individuals accountable to the rules without reservation to their status on this forum. Additionally leaders on this forum should lead by example and stick to the rules that were set by the management.

Sorry if some may consider this whining, but sticking to the rules is what has made this forum the greatest forum on the internet.
CD
