Thread: Did anyone see on CNN a report that the dinars will be at least 1 to 1?

This newspaper showing dinar alone might not be a big deal ......However on another forum...sombody said they just heard on CNN that one Iraqi Dinar was to be soon worth $1 USD......just hear say but it was just posted !!! ....I will follow up as soon as I hear more !!!

Had a few friends call me and they stated that they heard on CNN yesterday and today, that one Iraqi dinar would at least $1.00.

But the final amount would be more depending on how much the other countries would forgive on the debt owed by Iraq.

It makes sense on the debt, but wondering if any of you all heard something like that on CNN or any other news media?

I've tried looking in the CNN website but have not come up with anything.

This was probably started by one of the rumor mongors. Would love to see the proof!

Wouldn't we all !!!! but who knows with all this Banking news coming out....and debt forgivness....I think we are closer than ever !!! and on a week end it could very well come from our own news here in the states ....I'm not going to the bank on this news but sure will follow it till we find out

Don't know if this helps or not but Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari WAS on CNN Money yesterday talking about the conference.

So unless someone has seen this whole segment, I dont think this rumor can fully be put to bed yet.

Just watch it !! very short nothing on Dinar, just ICI .....but it was on "CNN MONEY"..would love to see the whole thing...could be somthing ....

The Bush hating left wing CNN would never report anything positive about the dinar as it would make the Bush administration look good.

it would be cool if it were true, but until i see it on youtube then its just another crazy rumor out.

same thing i said over there ........It doesn't sound too far fetched too me, it could have just been a commentator or analyst speculating on the currency under the current economic changes?
