Did any one see the CBI's rate of .19 or 1:5 ?
check cbi mistake thread post#528
i saw the auction result and 1 tick move to 1269 - 30 minutes later all h e double hockey sticks broke loose.
I haven't read on a single forum yet where anyone has said that they saw that rate on the CBI Website.
I personally don't believe anybody did because there would be no reason for them not to come right out and say so - despite what it says in the other thread.
I welcome being corrected on this though - it would be very good news if that was actually seen.
No disrespect to anyone here but there is third hand info that is was seen. I don't don't care at all for third hand info. And, it's back up now with a new auction and rate of 1268. So, until someone says they saw it with their own eyes, i don't believe it was ever on the CBI site... unless a hacker put it there and then we have an explanation for being down 2 days.
As per the rules of third hand info, i've read that someone was told by someone else that they saw it... :fryingpan but they are not a member here... is that right? That's what i remember reading.
So, a related question is what's up with Saf... sorry, not saying that dealers name (no free publicity for their apparant stunt). What's up with them? They say they get the rate from CBI. CBI is down for 2 days and when it's back, not 1 frickin' change. Am i just too impaitent or is something cooking? Or was it a stunt?
cbi is up and running todays rate 1268 ...sucks...sorry folks
I didn't get the automated email that SD puts out , but I did see the .19 on their site as an exchange rate. From what I am understanding, and please someone correct me if I am wrong, this site has some sort of link to the CBI that when the CBI rate changes, it is automatically sent to their site. And when it reached the site, the message went out about that rate. True, everything appears to be back online as far as we can see, but there has to be something brewing and preparing to blow the top off of the pot. We shall soon see.
