Wow, a full moon. Also, on that night Saturn will be in alignment with venus and Haleys Comet will be exactly 1270 miles from the earth!! ... All this could only mean one thing.... REVAL.... lol ... .... Magnolia eh? Well Howdy from Tomball....

The most beautiful place to be on a full moon night is the beach. It lights up the whole beach and you have a chance to see Dolphins at night!

No really. The Iraqis have something about announcing news or making decisions on a full moon.
Any kind of solar alignment to make this happen works for me!!

You know it all seems nice, not logical, but have you read the post lately? boy everyone is weirding out.

I just had to add a weird one too. I am sure it is coming but I think some have been saying it's coming for a couple of years now. I wonder when?

Q.) I just need to ask a question about the view of Islam in use of Astrology and Numerology. I have seen that many people use these when they are getting ready to marry and want to find a proper match. In Pakistan, I have seen that people use name of the couple being married and their date of births to match, so they know if the person's personality will match as a couple.

I am not sure if this practice is allowed in Islam or not. Also, I want to know if it is considered as trying to know the events that will occur in future. [Asma]

A.) Using astrology or numerology to determine the future is haram.

Nabi cursed people who practice fortune-telling. Therefore, the people should be discouraged from following this sinful practice. And Allah Ta'ala Knows Best.

Albalagh Note: This Jahilya practice stems from lack of belief and lack of true knowledge. That is why it is common to both the illiterate people as well as the so called "educated" people. It is so rampant that it is hard to find an "educated" person who does not know his sign. And you find even the most prestigious publications in the West (as well as their blind followers in the Muslim world) devoting space to fortune telling. That should not detract you from the fact that it is a reflection of pure ignorance.

I have a freind that mentioned this the other day. They said that a full moon in their religion means a "New Beginning". I dont know this. Just thought I would post in your thread TexasGirl since this was mentioned to me. I know, I know, everyone is reaching for a possiblity.

My friend also has been telling me for a couple of months that the Iraqi's will do their r/v on a full moon. I did some research on this and I found that what my friend had been saying was right on!
So when we noticed that May 2nd was the "New Beginning" we were very excited that it may finally happen!
