On the other hand, when the CBI arabic side says " The Iraqi Central Bank announced the adoption of buying and selling rates for the dollar Aam on April 8, 2007 until the end of office hours on Wednesday, which falls on April 11, 2007." that means that the option for an RV tomorrow is kinda low.

Sorry to burst a bubble here and I hate doing it; if you remember they did the same about a week ago (?). The results: the market prices stayed stable because the rate was stable for a couple of days, traders, exchangers appreciated it ( that was in an article).

As I said, I hope I am wrong. I am totally for an RV to happen YESTERDAY! But what do I know? I don't have any inside sources, just a few brain cells left...

Just received a call...

CBI CLOSED UNTIL WEDNESDAY THIS WEEK!

HAS TO DO WITH EXCHANGE RATE OF NEW IRAQI DINAR THAT WAS SET AT SATURDAYS SECRET MEETING.

THE RESULT OF THAT MEETING WILL BE MADE PUBLIC WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY AT THE LATEST.

Aside from the poor grammer, I like your enthusiasm Danny.

However, the "news" of no auctions until Wednesday is not "news" today. It was "news" yesterday.

The claim that the CBI has only been buying Dinar and not selling for the past month is not true. They have had a few auctions where Dinar was sold back, triggering speculation of smaller denominations being distributed. I haven't bothered to go back and look for specific dates, but it happens from time to time.

I think Susie said it best that you are a newcomer here and your perceptions come from lack of experience.

The indicators you are mentioning have all been here for a long time. I think the membership here understands what I am talking about.

Anyways, keep up your enthusiasm and work on that grammer. The CEO of a corporation should at least have passed basic English class. It would add to your credibility (at least with me).

Just ordered more from Chase here in La. and the rate was 239.86 for 275,000 dinar. I am locked in and they said I should have it tomorrow morning. Perhaps
Chase has built up their reserve, and are not going to be getting it from CBI??? don't have time to read this whole thread, out to purchase more for a friend.
