Danny, I am sort of new here so I am still learning. Who else is involved in the auctions besides the banks.

Today I found out there is no Dinars in Jordan, Dubai or Kuwait. per DannyDinar
I am sure there must be someone who has contacts in 1 of these countries that can verify this. Please
I just want to say I back up your rumor so far. Your rumor is the same thing I was told this week. No, we don't have the same source. I was told they have shut down dealers from getting dinar out of the middle east until the new rate is implemented which is SUPPOSE to be wens. or thurs from saturdays exchange rate meeting. I was told about this meeting a week before you even posted about it. I can even see it happening over the weekend just to get things in order first. I was told we will see a shake out rate and will be raised according to when all laws are enacted and oil is flowing. People can blast me as they will do but I am just reporting what was told to me.
You may get blasted, but not by many in these forums, me for one...any news helps, it also helps to clear up some of the thoughts floating through here.
I have an idea for some verification...and if I have time today I will try it (my husband flies in for one last visit before I fly out  sooo...no promises!! )
We bought dinars at the money changer in Dubai at the City Center mall. I will look up the number on line, and try to call and see if they are selling...
Will post results here on this thread.
Cheers!! Tracy
Danny could you please highlight the part pretaining to your statement in post #224 "Today on voices of Iraq it stated that the auction was only for banks and on Thursday a new rate will be revealed", sorry but I'm having a hard time finding the words "NEW RATE WILL BE REVEALED".....This looks like the statement they always put out referring to the Daily CBI auctions.....and if you are going to say that the statement "fixed the exchange rate at 1,272 dinars per dollar until Thursday", that aint going to fly,......go back and read previous reports on the Auctions and the demand for the dollar, they all say the same thing "fixed the exchange rate at (what ever at the time) dinars per dollar until (which ever day applies)", looking forward to your reply..........
