Question Past reval's happened on April 1st?

I haven't had time to research this matter myself, but I understand that previous reval's have occurred on the first of April. I was also told that tomorrow is a holiday of some kind in Iraq, but people were having to work tomorrow instead of being off to observe this holiday. Does anyone have any other information on these items?

    Default Listing of dates

Actually someone did post a list of the dates they have rv'd over the past 6 or seven years. It showed April 30, not the first. With the exception of the last two years or so. Someone help me out on that. I know it is here but cant find it.

Just all be aware since tomorrow is April 1st, jokes on a RV will be rampant. CBI should be the one of the only sites for verification.

It is my understanding this is just a date the amounts are published. Typically it looks like the end of April. The exceptions were in September of 2003 and 2004.

No connection as far as I can see between this list and a currency revaluation.

And besides, Iraq is re-writing the history books as we go here. Nothing surprises me anymore regarding Iraq.

    That's no joke.

    Thank you.

I thought that it was the day that Mohammad made a journey to relocate from one city to another.

    Yep, you're right! Sorry......

Iraqi TV said that the source in the Iraqi government said that on Sunday, which marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (r) will not be an official holiday, and that it would formally enduring of all government departments.

جدير بالذكر ان هذه السابقة الاولى في تاريخ الحكومات العراقية منذ اكثر من 40 عاما الذي يستمر فيها دوام العمل في عطلة المولد النبوي الشريف.
