I see nothing WRONG with listing a PUBLIC number to bank.
You did not post a mobile, home, or private number to anyone.
Keep up all the good work and since I have some free time I am going to call every local bank and ask the same questions.
I will post all the good and bad info that I find out.

This IMO lets it down as I can't see it happening, but this is what the person was told and I don't doubt their integrity. The rate quoted was $3. We'll see, not long to wait. As I say I know the poster and they are creditable. Not long to wait and see either way. :drinkbudd
