Question/ Challenge to the naysayers

I have been taking into account all the recent news and laws. At the same time I am trying to ignore all rumors. After some thinking I came to a question. It's a question for those who doubt this investment. To be honest I feel that way on occasion. The question that came to mind was this... With everything that Iraq wants to do and have done, between the FIL, the HCL, the ISX... What would be the point of any of these if they were going to keep a worthless currency? I do not see a point in bringing in investors if you have nothing for them to gain. Maybe I a missing something? If so please fill me and the others in.

I also have some dates. Now the oil summit is the 17-18 of April. Yet many reports say the Iraqi's will have the HCL done by the end of MAY. So I figure they can not show up to the summit with nothing. The HCL will be passed and ratified before than. It will however not be enacted until the end up MAY which could bring a revalue the latest the first -second week of JUNE.

As far as the amount of the revalue.. I have been doing some more thinking. Now the Market does not like to be surprised. I do not believe it will be the huge reval we all want. But it will have to be worth something. I believe the least will .10 us and the max will be done by simply removing 3 zeros from the RATE which currently would put it at .78 us. Then once on the forex as a tradable currency the market will dictate the true value which will result in an initial surge ( the jump start of the economy they have been mentioning)

Anyway that’s just what I was thinking about last night while I couldn't sleep. What do you all think?

How do you figure it to be a worthless currency? This is what the Iraqi people use to purchase stuff, the denominations are just higher then what you normally see around the world. I would say it is a bit undervalued but not worthless, even today you can sell a million to Chase for $720 or buy a million for $882

I think that I am glad that I am not desperate for money and have not invested more than I can afford to lose on the dinars (not insinuating that you are, just sayin'). I believe that when the r/v comes it will be more in the range of .05 to .10 and will not make a bunch of people into millionaires over night. I also would not be surprised if we are still in limbo waiting for some huge r/v 6 months from now, LOL. I firmly believe that we will make a good return on our investment but I am not kidding myself about becoming stinking rich in a heartbeat. I read the rumors and predictions for fun and give them no credit whatsoever as being accurate in any way...just fun and entertainment. Of course I hope that the r/v comes soon for the sake of the Iraqi people mainly and then those who are strapped for cash. I don't really care for myself as I have already stashed those stinky notes away with other stuff that I never look at anymore.

Your right.. in reality, the currency is not PHYSICALLY worthless. But in terms of buying power, cost of living, and investing.. yes it is quite worthless. What would be the benefit to you as investor with out the currency being worth more?? I guess you would be content to cash out now then?

ok duck there is no proof of small denoms printed...just cause some guy says so as a rumor ... wait ok then there was a acticle that yes did have head people there that said 14 denoms were printed in an article back in i believe 2004 . But is it possible that the article was a mis print as of now there is no proof of small dinars to be released its just speculation.

The more i think about things Im starting to believe there will be no HUGE overnight RV. It would'nt make sense to do so. I would be estatic as everyone else but its not thinking logical and yes ive read all the articles and been reading them for years. For iraq to have a big surge of foriegn investment they wont just RV at 1:1 or more to the american dollar. Reason I think in my opinion is that Ok say I am a big investor I just saw that the currency of a nation that is in turmoil granted they are making small progress as the days go on, all of the sudden the currency increases hundreds of thousands of percent I would think I would hold off and see what happens for a lil bit as an investor that hasnt invested in the dinar would be kicking themselves for not investing then saying to themselves i missed the boat. Now with a low rv at say 10cents to 30 cents may fuel the market for investing even though that is thousands of a percent increase. Dollar to dinar just seems like to much of a fantasy. The only direct foriegn investment they will see if it did open at 1:1 would be the people holding dinar to reinvest it back into country. Do I make anysense to anyone....I guess its just all speculation. I guess we all will know soon within the next few months. Tank

I would like to know what effect did the drop in value of the Dinar have on Iraq? How did the people respond? Was the drop drastic? Was it overnight or was it a trickle? All I'm saying is why not an RV overnight and why would it not be a good thing? The drastic drop has been killing them; the overnight increase would not. It is hard to acccept what some feel is impossible. As we have read many times, Iraq operates differently.
