Understand that this does not come with the fanfare of a rumour, but I'm afraid that's the best I can do with it without twisting it in any way! I'll save my celebrations and excitement for when it does reach the dollar mark!

Here is what I got from "MY SOURCE" - Mr. I ( just kidding - it is all public): 1000 to 1 by THE END OF THIS YEAR ( no news there - which CBI already said it is a false rumour). What other better source than a Bank Manager? Is your source in the Government? Cause if it is, then with the cabinet reshuffle, he will be kicked out for leaking info!

Nothing personal, baby, just saying that your 1000 - 500- 1 scenario is just as credible as the $1.29 scenario , or $3.22 scenario. That's because Mr. I has limited access to info of this nature even from his position with the bank, just as your guys. NO ONE, except if they are at the high level - have access to this type of information.

If the HCL has been approved and the Parliament had the first look at it on a web site AFTER the GOI agreed on it, can you imagine what kind of security the Iraqis are capable of implementing when it comes to hot items like this?

1000 - 500- 1 is still a phenomenal profit in the currency market - if you think about it - so speculation will not slow down.

On the other hand, does not solve the inflation problem.
