Thread: Stay The Course!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know "Stay the Course" is not a popular sentiment from politicians these days, but I thought it would be a good title for this post. As I read through Dinar land posting I note a bit more frustration about the process, in fact far more than I've read over the past year and a half. I understand the frustration, but cannot agree with it. We need to hang in there. Some of us have already made great ROI and could cash right now saying "told ya so" to the skeptics that surround us (ie co-workers, friends, or family). Some of us are near break even points and might consider cashing some out. No matter whether you believe in slow grow or overnight grow keep positive!!!! Things are really on the verge in Iraq. If this thing were to be in a "fail" position we'd have a lot more evidence of it. As it stands right now we are still in great position and my M.O. will be a "hold" position until I reach my current "magic" number(s) of .15 to .20.

Here's how strongly I feel about this investment and maybe it will re-inspire or give new optimism to those who feel a bit frustrated and pessimistic about this investment: I recently (over the past several months) went through a "bump in the road" concerning my overall financial situation. I'm still in great shape, but I was forced to do a little money "juggling" and I'm not the type that likes to do it. I like living with a large, liquid, and solid financial "cushion". During this period most would have said selling out a portion of my IQD investment would have been the smartest way to "juggle" my situations. Well, guess what. Not only did I not do that but I PROTECTED MY IQD INVESTMENT ABOVE ALL OTHERS!!!! Let me say that again and a bit louder:

I PROTECTED MY IQD INVESTMENTS ABOVE ALL OTHERS!!!!!

I protected the most risky of my investments when in rational thinking it should have been the first liquidated. That's how strong I still feel about the potential outcome of this investment. If that doesn't bring some optimism out there about this endeavor I don't know what will. Hang in there folks, the biggest chunk of data is only a few weeks/months away.

You are on the money here baggs. That is exactly what I have done. I was telling my mother the same thing just yesterday.

Agreed though the I believe the rate to be much higher. We are nearing a conclusion. I'm riding this investment till its wheels fall off.....then I'm putting a new set on and riding it some more.

Thank you Munny, because statements like yours need to be posted. Sometimes it becomes harder for some to hold on even tho the end is near. Emotions can become soooo overbearing that thinking becomes cloudy. I like many many others will not give in cuz I'm in it to win. Soon, no one is going to remember the "waiting period" because of our increase. RV, I stand w/soon and very soon.

Thanks to all who answered and am very glad to see we all share the same eventual dream. As far as those who disagree with the Munny Model I say great!!! I don't want everyone to believe the exact same theory. We get better info with lively and civil debate. The truth will win out in this thing in the end and that's one guarantee I will make about this endeavor. Let's let bygones be bygones and approach this thing as a TEAM!!! Keep right on top of all the info out there. Security, economics, rebuilding, debt relief, etc any tidbit that is POSITIVE no matter how small it may appear to be. Refocus and re-energize NOW!!!!! This is no time to go soft or give up. New attitude and new outlook for success!!!!

When I was on my way home today from work, I nearly ran into the retaining wall as I heard the Oil Law was Passed TODAY in Iraq. I couldn't believe my ears. Right there on the Radio Waves. I had to make a few calls to others, as I can not be here 24/7 do to that DAYJOB, just to verify what I heard was what I heard..

Maybe that DayJob will go by the wayside here very soon. Gald to have been apart of this ride with you all. We are so close. Great Speach "Money"

when the FIL is passed that will be a good day....personally. I believe they had better RV before the FIL is passed, and China walks in with a ton or two of GOLD and buys up the whole country...nobody wants that....their money is worth, based on the countrys resorces and nothing else @ 1.00 per USD...and they got no debt...I cant see why they are starving the Iraqi people by keeping intentionally so low.....I dont think they will take much more of that....Starving people do crazy things....with all that oil they got...its a disgrace to think their " new " government is acting that way...you think the violence is bad now?...If they dont RV soon, you cant imagine how bad it could get...they havent stormed the new congress yet.....but maybe if they dragged a dozen of the new law makers out into the square and shot them....I'll bet things would start popping quick....IMHO....and you might see it....the VP was giving a speach yesterday when a bomb went off in the congress hall...knocked him off his feet, and killed 10 people..and this was after a US crew and bomb sniffing dog went thru the place.....
