Let me preface my view of rumors by telling you a little about a dark time in my life. I went through a divorce in 2000, something I did not want. My three kids stayed in the house with their mother and I moved to an apartment. Not long afterward my ex-wife had a boyfriend living at the house with her...same house, same kids, same bed...different man. That is not an easy thing to deal with. Everywhere I went...I saw families together all the time and it crushed me. Then one day I was out to dinner and I saw what looked like a really happy family a few tables over. It was a man, a woman, and two kids. They were laughing and having a great time. I started thinking to myself how lucky they were to be together and how unfortunate I was to not have a family anymore and then, like a ton of bricks it dawned on me....I knew nothing more about those four people than they knew about me. For all I knew it was a divorced man who had picked his kids up from his ex-wife's house and met his beautiful girlfriend out for dinner. I had been assuming (or telling myself) that they must be this really happy family and it made me feel bad...so as long as I was telling myself stories why not tell myself one that made me feel good? I could just as easily tell myself the second scenario since I didn't know the truth anyway....right?

OK, now to my point.

We are all at the current point in our lives. It is what it is. Different for all of us but probably similar in many ways. When we hear a rumor it gives us hope. The hope spawns dreams. Dreams are fun. If the rumor does not come to pass then we should not be any worse off than we were before the rumor...if you are then it's YOUR fault ...not the rumor teller's fault. If you are worse off after a rumor that does not come to pass then you have invested something emotionally into the rumor that you shouldn't have. This is where my preface story comes into play. If you tell yourself that you're tired of waiting and you need the money and you need this rumor to be true so you can quit your job and you need this rumor to be true so you can buy a nice house and a nice car then you are certain to fall hard if it doesn't happen. What you should be telling yourself is that you are going to enjoy the hell out of this rumor and the possibility that it might be true and if it does not come to pass then there will be another one, and another one....until eventually one sticks. If you don't believe that one will eventually stick then I have but one question for you......What in the world are you doing reading the rumors section?

Thank you for sharing a painful time in your life, but you hit the nail on the head about rumors. I like rumors because they get me charged-up and positive. That is why I avoid negativity like the plague.

I believe that we can manifest anything we want merely by putting thought and emotion into it. We all know that the dinar will revalue. It is not a question of "if," it is only a matter of when. If we all think it is tomorrow, and put emotional energy behind the thought, it will revalue tomorrow imo.
