Thread: Rumor Reward

I know this rumor business is already volatile, but how many folks would be willing to pledge 25,000 ID prize for the 1st member to accurately post the reval rumor? Furthermore, to curtail extrainious post, we could impose a 25,000 penalty for innaccurate rumor post. These proceeds will go to some sort of Iraqi relief fund or foundation. These post rumors will be Identified as "Prize Rumors". I'm think that this may incourage further investigation and promote a new kind of excitement. You guy may can tell that I have been involved too long.

nice idea, but IMO not worth the hassle. Im all for helping the iraqis but perhaps an alternative method could be used. . . ie. we all pitch in a couple of bucks, with the amount of caring members here we could probably reach $1000 easily, then we could buy a mill dinar and if and when the rv hits we can donate that million dinars (now worth sh*tloads) to an iraqi recovery foundation.

Helping the Iraqis was just a residual effect from the inaccurate rumors that will be posted. The intent was to provide a fun way to motivate and facilitate investigation and speculation. Just thought it would be sort of fun.

How about everyone donating 25000: then vote on the " most valuable
player (poster) " top 5 get a donation in their name to favorite charity
