IMRB:woohoo: :woohoo:
i should be getting some more info on this from him in the next day or so.
Like I said before he is in Iraq right now and went and spoke with one of the small shop vendors which is where we both got most of our Dinar from before i got back into the states. So I ask him to confirm it with them again and get an actual rate they are exchange at now vice what we got it from him in mid 2006
So this Iraqi shop vendor told your friend in Iraq that the exchange rate is 3 $US:1 dinar as of today? And is this friend of yours known as a jokester or one that would make this up???...lol.... If not who is this vendor because I want to send over some of my dinar! lol.....
Maybe this should be taken over into the rumour section? But I would definately like to hear more about this. Dont you all think? :ro_emote:
Moved here. Hope this one is confirmed soon. :ro_emote:
Well to start i am not a joker when i comes to this; if it was a joke i would of not posted it on ROLCLUB at all. So lets try this one more time friends. when i was in Iraq last year I bought my dinar from the vendor and got it at 1645 to the dollar. My buddy who is still there now which is January 2007 sent me a e-mail in reply to the privious one i sent him asking him to go and speak with the vendor and see what his current rate was and he wrote me back stating that the rate was 3 dinar to 1 dollar which is .31 !!
so i wrote him back this morning asking him to re-verify because i wanted to be completly sure at what he was saying because sometimes we all know there is a communication problem when it comes to Iraqies and their language. So with that being said I am awaiting his reply to see that what was said is correct. I posted it because we all got excited with the info and chose to share it with our ROLCLUB friends. Hope that clears everything up a little better I will keep everyone posted as to what kind of respond i get back from my friend in Iraq.
