I think you missed something here. I paid the taxes, that is my point. They gave me the "bonus" and I paid approx. 39% tax called the "gift tax". So, to answer your question..... I paid the tax.

Hey tell you what...Give me a gift of two million dollars and I will gladly pay the taxes on it (but don't quote me on that, it's only a rumor)
wishing us all success(and that ain't no rumor)

I reposted my question below, and I believe that it has been answered. I do know that this is the rumor area, but there was quite a bit conversation about the IRS and some replies concerning tax laws. I apologize for turning the topic away from the main intention. As far as I am concerned I need no more time wasted on my question.
P.S. I did try to find info on the net about gifts and taxes, but with the amount in question , I only could find info regarding estate taxes. Even on the IRS site.:sads:
Thanks you and please accept my apology,

I have an off the wall question.
If you were given (not an inheritance)$2,000,000 usd what would you have left after taxes...2 dependents...you already made approximately $50,000 gross a year with health and taxes taken out?
Anyone have an answer? IRS DUDE? Post but also PM me if you do have an accurate answer!
Thanks!

Lower Denoms!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just wanted to move Krazybills report of the lower denominations here before someone yells foul.
Here is the report from the "1 Dinar" thread.
From Krazybill.
"
my iraqi worker just told me this is an old 1 dinar note at least 30 years. he also said that now the bank has new coins in 1,5,10,25 & 100 denominations that his brother at the bank showed him yesterday. i found this quite interesting. i asked him to bring me some, if he comes through i will scan and post for all to see."
Then he reported:
"new coins
Well i am sorry to say once again i have been disapoited by my iraqi friend, but not completely. he was supposed to bring in the new coins today, he said he could no problem. but, and i cant say that i am supprised, today he showed up empty handed. he said that he went to the bank and they showed them to him but would not permit him to purchase any because they have not been released yet. when he asked when he could purchase some, does anyone know what the answer was????? Very soon. so i am sorry but i got excited and jumped the gun, next time i think i am onto something i will keep it to myself until i have some sort of confirmation to share."
Who knows? Not me, but I hope its legit!!
