no forum monitor, it doesnt belong here but as i was in a hurry to go to a doctors appointment i quickly posted it once i got the phone call before i left the house.

as far as im concerned its news about the revalue albeit word of mouth or malikis phone call to neno. however it comes its news to me and yes im going to be excited because i started getting excited about this investment in september and im going to continue to do just as im doing.

we all know the routine about not spending more than you can afford to lose. take responsibility for your own actions, i do.

thank you. and i post these things because people trust me to do them justice and not divuldge for whatever reasons. i get rumors all the time but i dont post them all, just ones that seem probable. some of you people need to take a chill pill. i see ive ignored the correct people on the forum from the reply posts i read,

I truly believe a reval was planned, at least once, in the past, and was postponed for their own reasons. There would be a MAJOR rebellion if the CBI suddenly revalued the IQD without giving the higher net worth people a chance to convert their USD to IQD. Not allowing this courtesy to the poor would be even worse.

There has been a well organized effort to imply that a reval is coming over the last 30 days or so, through all Iraqi media outlets. The news over the last two days is as strong as you can get, without stating a time and amount. Iraq HAD to leak out news of an impending reval for the above reasons, just to name two.

I bet Susie's rumor is not as much a rumor. The question is.....Will Iraq execute the plan at THIS time, as is planned, OR, will they postpone it again???

actually one of the ladies on our team was told by her bank manager that they have been contacted a few times in the last year and a half telling them to be ready and then it didnt come through so there ya go.

1) Usually if there is more than one source that lends validity to said rumour.

2) This MUST be the talk on streets in Iraqi towns..

3) Imagine how many angry Iraqis (and foreign currency holders like us) there would be, if this is truly the talk(knowlege on how valuable their currency truly is) on the streets around Iraq, if the Iraqi govt DOES NOT make the dinar as valuable or close to the US dollar......



Any one else have any confirmations or things to add?

as i said ive received 3 other like confirmations of this week with one actually stating a date of the 11th. another said that talibani had already talked on television monday telling the people that their dinar would soon be equal to the dollar.
