neno - bubbajr found it in the history thread but I read something on it but didn't post because it was already posted. Okay all here me out on this thing. I'm going to put a time line on this thing.

President Gerald Ford passed away on the 27th of Dec. As of the 28th President Bush said there would be 5 days of mourning and Jan 2 will be the official day of mourning and all goverment offices are going to be closed along with our markets. I woundn't thing the Iraqi's would come out to release the dinar until our markets were open. Which won't happen until the 3rd. Now reference this news item "we will release the third Wednesday of January 2007" Now is this coincidence or not but I think it is very interesting.

Any way this is my take on things. I believe Wednesday could be a very interesting day. Will just have to sit back and see what develops. Any way you all have a wonderful New Year.

The third wednesday of January 2007 would be 01/17/2007. The passing of President Ford and the additional holiday for mourning could not be part of the CBI's revalue plan.

I agree with you that the passing of President Ford is not part of the CBI's reval plan. But if they were planning on it for the 2nd of January and now since our markets will be closed. They will have to wait until they are open on the third. That is what I was getting at. Sorry for the confusion. I guess I should have wrote it differently.

If you did not cacth what Mrs.ck posted. Here is a better shot, when reading the news paper they have a tendency of writing the date, then the day and then month and year.
So if you look and it they do not write like us they are a little complicated to understand sometimes. I found that out and I was told that by my sons that were over there.
This is how they explained it to me.
If they write it, like the Third it means 3
then they put the day of the week, Wednesday
then they will put the month and then the year.
I hope this will hopefully clear it up a little.

For the president's passing it was just a thought.
I think some times we do not see out side of the box and may be thinking of something a little different, who knows. There may be something there or there may not.

Lets just wait and see what happens on the 3rd.

Maybe this didn't make sense to some because some still think it means something about a reval on the 3rd.

The newspaper will stop work until the 3rd then they will publish again, that's what the announcement reads.

I'm confused!
