Motivation for Speculating in Dinars

He seems like a pretty loyal person. The administration he served as VP for the last 6 years would be forever tarnished by the scandle and he'd have to resign in shame. I don't think he'd bring that kind of disgrace on GW nor his father let alone his own family and his place in history. I don't think someone already worth millions and has the potential to make millions more after 2008 would pay this high a price.
JMO though.
My initial and continuing motivation for speculating in dinars was and is two-
fold. First, I believe our investment will help bring our troops home faster
and provide part of the foundation for the launching of a prosperous economy in Iraq. That prosperous economy should raise significantly the
standard of living in Iraq mid-term and long-term. A byproduct of this prosperity is the freedom that we will have given the Iraqis - a freedom not enjoyed for at least 35 years.
Second, I obviously would like to make a profit on this speculation. With that profit I plan to make substantial charitable donations for the widows and
orphans that have been left as a result of our troops' sacrifices.
The last thing on my mind in entering into this transaction was to "...profit off the blood of our troops and innocent Iraqi women and children."
If my motivation were as you describe, I never would have participated. I
hope others of us feel the same way as I do.
That is an awful thin line

Why are you bashing someone for something they heard and passed along? You have no idea if it is true anymore than the rest of us. But to call someone that you know nothing about a liar, you might have just crossed the line that is the point of no return.
