Noone will yell at you. We all appreciate your efforts !!
I would ask him what loss? And then tell him that you can go into any chase and exchange it back if you want. Ok maybe a little loss with exchange rate. I would be interested to know what he has heard. Can you call him back ?
Don't take it personal, Mom, he probably got his butt chewed on a little.
Wouldn't be surprised if this is misinformation from the main office. Also, wouldn't be surprised if they are miffed that they might have a leak... That is if they are really going to handle the dinar. Otherwise, they just don't want to be bothered....
Is that all....chin up....hell we have heard worse...Believe me they are not going to tell some little drip of a branch manager the intricate workings of another country...It's all good...once this revals over the weekend then you can walk in and see how alarmed he looks then!!!
MOM2TWO nobody is going to yell at you. Thanks for trying and sharing.
Many others have tried. Banks aren't going to tell you anything.
We have many facts that all point to something really good. We had more rumors and also a lot of positive ones.
I got the feeling that there will be more and more misleading and fear will be brought up the closer we come but it will not work.
Sit on your dinars, hang in there, keep posting and prepare your party.
It is probably the same thing that my local B of A manager told me this morning when I asked a teller to sell me some dinars. He got out his brand new currency book...looked up the dinar...it was in there...he called the B of A traders...they told him they could not get it until it starts to trade on the foreign exchange and has a real exchange value...he apologized to me...then he asked me why I was so interested in dinars...I told him...he loved it and asked for the website where I buy them from...I gave him the safedinar site...another dinaraholic added to the fold!!!
Back when the rumor of Chase coming out and going to exchange when jsfletcher and I were calling all the Chase branches in the US, I called JPMorgan in New York main foriegn services, and they were a complete Butt. And all they wanted was my info and said they dont exchange Iraqi Dinar. So this might be the same tactic before monday as they will be doing this. Remember they dont want the "Cat out of the Bag" until the Banks close on Friday if this is to happen Monday.:ro_emote:
