    Lightbulb Basic Info...for a Newbie

    Hi All,
Just a few months ago my dh brought home and article about the Iraqi Dinar, and was wanting to "buy some". I figured it was a hobby for him, and perhaps in ten years we would have a nice suprise. However, I was sceptical and joked with friends and family that we were investing money in the Chuck E. Cheese token. However, after buying more and more, I became interested. I try doing research online, but most places that I find information are selling the dinars...so I tend to question them. Is there someone that could perhaps answer just some basic questions for me??

1.) When we first started investing, we were looking at a ten year deal? What exactly happened to make everyone think it is going to happen sooner? (btw..if it could happen before I max yet another Holiday credit card that would be super)

2.) When it goes on the foreign exchange how will I know? Is it something that will be all over the news, or am I going to miss it because I was too busy cutting coupons??

3.) Why are these companies selling the dinar? Shouldn't they want to keep it? don't mean to be a downer, but this question lingers in my head!

Okay, sorry to be such a "newbie", but I am so glad to have found you all.

BTW... I recently have started asking questions via ebay to big time investors...and have had a few respond saying that they are working for larger firms...i.e. Wells Fargo...Chase Bank

    Thanks in Advance,
    MOM2TWO

If you look thru the dinar sites, you will see speculation running rampant.

So, in answer to question 1, nobody knows.
#2- by keeping up with the forums.
#3-because it may never do anything to appreciate. As my sister (who works for the federal reserve) said; ususally the only ones that make money in these situations are the dealers.

BTW. . .I'm happy you found us too!

Habakkuk 2:2-3 Then the LORD answered me and said: “ Write the vision And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

Ok everyone. We have to record this for later use. We finally got MOM2TWO to admit publicly that she is NOT innocent.

Ronbo, please keep this in a safe place to back me up later if needed.

Hmmmm, you might also be able to use this to rescue your credit cards. That is, if she hasn't already worn them out from repeated use.
