Basically he is saying that you and SGS are the same person posting under two different usernames.

Beginning in late 2003, the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA), with assistance from USAID and the U.S. Department of Treasury, conducted a four-month program to exchange Iraqi’s old currency for a new currency - including the facilitation and management of putting 4.62 trillion new dinars into circulation, while also destroying the old currency.
USAID Telling Our Story: Iraq - New Currency Pays Tribute To The Iraqi People
my friend who has been talking to his brother via phone from iraq talked with him the other night and confirmed the 'buzz' about the dinar talk and that everyone was talking about 'three days' (found article next day in al sabaah called 'three days') and that the dinar was revaluing. said all communication was shut down at the bases until further notice. said he would call when he got to baghdad the next day but bro never got the call.
No way....are you serious??? I am flattered but...he is a few thousand miles off...I live in Central Pennsylvania....heck we are not even in the same time zone...SGS has contacts and she is in the know. I only have hunches and I am married to a U.S. Army 1st Sgt who just got back from Iraq last November after a 14 month tour of duty and 23 years service, hopefully I can keep him retired... I follow SGS like everybody else but as far as in the know....geez....Let's put it this way....if I was to disappear today it would take my husband and 2 kids 3 days to realize I was gone....and that is only because the laundry would be piling up...and groceries were running low. I just got lucky with this venture and it wasn't even my husband who mentioned the dinar investment...He had brought home old saddam dinars for souveniers for our daughters and I was looking on the internet for some history about them and stumbled across the new dinars...I guess it was fate...believe me I am usually a day late and a dollar short and this was just a fluke!!! What a ride though... Come on an reval I am ready to get off this rollercoaster!!!
Mike isn't it unbelievable how they have nothing better to do but follow hopeful and positive people around, it's truly is pathetic, makes you wonder what they do in real life, one thing is for sure they probably don't have many friends, because I don't know anyone who would want to be around depressing people.
indeed. and my friends and i were just talkin. i bounced the idea off of them that the word from the people on the ground in iraq that is leakin out about the $1.68 to the dinar could very well be them saying .68 dinar to the dollar. thats 3 ZEROS OFF THE CURRENT EXCHANGE RATE, OR $1.47 MY ROOMMATES PREDICTION!!! LMAO@THE IRONY OF IT ALL!!!!
Are we there yet ?
Does anyone know when the big announcement is going to be made ?
From mid-August thru beginning of Sept. whenever I was feeling down about our investment, especially after some naysaying number cruncher would try to dash our hopes, I would read this post by Charmed Piper to get me inspired again - CP I hope you don't mind me re-posting it
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Expect the unexpected, think outside the box, and if you have a friend who is an economist, statician, professor, paper-trailer, logistical engineer, or the average person who says it has never been done before....do them a HUGE favor and take some of your high reval cash and buy them a big big bottle of aspirin because when this hits it could be like nothing anyone ever has seen before. I have no inside information, I don't know anybody, I can't back it up this is just my theory.
Think about this though...at some point in history an unchartered or pioneered event has occured to be able to call it a supported fact. I think (and this is only my opion, I can't back it up) but, we are on the verge of one these events that will be written about in text books...I think this is a unique situation given the fact that there is worldwide support and when they (Iraqi government trips, slips or falls) the world community is there to pick them up, back them up, guide them, and support them financially, militarily, economically, logistically.
I understand there are a lot of printed dinar and of course it is the only thing on our minds especially lately, but how much of it is currently held in country or deals made with other countries to hold it (given a "maturity" date) I know that when I ask friends family etc. if they have invested yet...I usually get "what's a dinar". I don't think it is as widely distributed as we think. If everything about this could be backed up by fact or prediction based on past events then wouldn't more investors or investment firms have this as a recommendation to their clients.
If you were to pick a date for a reval to be revealed what day of the week would you say would be the most inconceivable, unconventional, unpredictable day you could think of...my theory is a Friday.
I have heard a lot of naysayers saying no reval or no high reval because of.....and this.....and not economically feasible....they can give a lot of because and theoretically, and reasons why not....but if we are in unchartered territory with a country that is under a world microscope...the "superpowers that be" won't allow a failure and because and reasons why not can't be backed up with fact....only theory.
Again, only my opinion. But this is such a unique situation that anything is possible and anything is do-able (I don't think that is a word but you know what I mean). So let's support high reval with an august date...think outside the box.

Naysayer’s want to throw there negativity at us and they want to know an answer to why we just can't debate the issue, well here is my opinion why we don't want to debate the issue.
1. Most of us are not risk takers and when this opportunity came up, we took the plunge, why because as someone on iif stated once, if millions can make billions then why can't thousands make millions, I LOVE THIS QUOTE.
2. Most of us told people about this investment and were looked at as if we were crazy, and now we would love to tell them I TOLD YOU SO, another great quote from the immortal Shotgun Susie.
3. a lot of us never had something good happen in our lives (money wise) and we think this is our shot.
4. Positive energy makes positive things happen.
5. It's so easy to say that we are wrong.................but did the naysayer’s ever think of........... What if we were right.
6. Many people have made millions overnight, just look at the stock market, IPO's and what have you, why can't we.
7. We deal with negativity everyday just watch your local news, we don't want it here, this for some is an escape.
8. if you would like to debate then maybe post your question without the snide and sarcastic remarks and maybe someone with knowledge will answer,
and if you don't agree with the answer then just state your reason politely.
This Farm family falls in each one!!! I hope in about 6 hours I can call friends and family with this questions "Hey remember me tell you last year about the Dinar, I wanted you to spend a $100 bucks for 100,000 dinar, because you spend more then $100 at McDonalds every month?? - WELL I TOLD YOU SO!! Call the Cell from now on because this Grandma is hitting the Road!!! for a long over due vacation"
MAN - THAT WOULD MAKE MY DAY!!!!!!!!!

Sunni leaders back Shiite Al Maliki
Reuters
Baghdad: Sunni tribal leaders who have vowed to drive Al Qaida out of Iraq's most restive province met the Shiite premier on Wednesday, marking what Washington hopes will be a breakthrough alliance against militants.
Sattar Al Buzayi, a Sunni shaikh from Anbar province who has emerged in recent weeks as a leader of a tribal alliance against Osama Bin Laden's followers, said he and about 15 other shaikhs had offered their cooperation to Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki.
"We agreed to cooperate," Buzayi told Reuters. "We haven't agreed to anything specific, but we agreed to cooperate."
Al Maliki's office issued a statement praising the chiefs for their commitment to fighting the militants.
"This is admired and respected by all Iraqis. We are fully prepared to back your efforts," said the prime minister.
It was the first time Al Maliki had met the shaikhs since they pledged to fight Al Qaida in a meeting at Buzayi's compound in Ramadi, the provincial capital, two weeks ago.
Al Qaida's Iraq branch has seized control of towns and villages throughout the Euphrates river valley along the 250km from Falluja, near Baghdad, to the Syrian border.
But their strict interpretation of Sunni Islam and violent rule has alienated traditional-minded Sunnis, including groups that have supported the insurgency against US forces.
The United States says its 30,000 troops in Anbar cannot defeat the insurgency on their own.
Ok here's my email for anybody that wants to stay in touch:

Time is ticking WOOHOO OH if anybody see's a man floating in the clouds tell him to go home to the farm - my hubby is gone :toofunny:
It's absolutely ridiculous out there at IIF. Those mods don't have a clue on how to handle simple issues but instead try and over-complicate things. When members do post, they jump in immediately to do some clearing up. They should rename their site ParanoiaCentral.com.
You can post rumours but only in a certain forum. You cannot respond to them. All yeasayers to post in one forum. All naysayers in another. All confident yeasayers can post in another forum. The madness goes on and on. It's great to find this site that uses common sense.
Oh cool. A new count down. I am excited to see how this plays out. Sorry guys that i am a little slow. Been away from forum a few days and just noticing this thread.
