RollsRoyce.. getting the prioritys lined up is tricky... we"ll need legal advisors,
but also as its been stated.. it could flucuate up and down.. one thought has been it might float up quickly but another that it might go down after the initial opening due to exchanging.. so what do you think is the wisest move.. exchange abit and sit and wait for it to level out to exchange more? I know everyone will have their own plan... I just am trying to figure out what is the most logical thing we could do.. please don't hesitate (anyone) to give personal opinons I would just like to see other peoples reasoning on this?
    thanks ez

If it revalues as suzy says, Im all in, Not taking the risk of a crash. With the money I will make it won't matter if it goes up or not i'll be set, Living off the interest for the rest of my life.

This is my most likely course of action also.
Stick it in the bank, let the interest accrue for a while, then live off it.

Elfwizard... as much as I've tried to convince myself differently.. I have
felt exactly like you on this.. Being we could possibly be so close... it's
like trying to make that last final decision... I guess its just accepting the fact so what if it goes higher... it's ok... I already paid my bills...

As posted before, do not quit your job, do not buy the Aston Kutcher mobile, do not buy the dream home just yet. Let it all play out and then go crazy.

We are dealing with the middle east here and too many people have had their hopes crushed because of middle eastern decisions that we have no control over.

When the fat lady sings, I am cashing in. I do hear her warming up real well too, btw.

Same here...once the reval takes place I won't even consider trusting Iraq with my profits by holding on to dinars. But...I also don't trust the US Dollar that much either so I will be converting a substantial amount into Euros in an offshore account.

I'm cashing it in and running/flying/boating with it. Seriously though, do get advice. I've never lived in the high-altitude tax bracket, but from what I understand there are certain investments such as natural gas that fall under special tax exemptions/deductions (whatever) that can mitigate your tax burden; the catch being they are longer-term investments with the usual risks involved and the minimum investment amount is usually $10K or better, which is why I didn't pay too much attention to it. My point is - talk to an expert. Don't be the lottery winner that is broke again in a year.
