Marketing and lawsuits

Hey guys,

I found this little infographic online and though you all might be interested in it. It isn't something that we marketers usually think of, but getting threatened with a defamation lawsuit is nothing to joke about. I don't take part in stuff that could get me sued, but can't deny that there are marketers who use aggressive tactics that sometimes border on the edge of defamation – and other times cross into it. And “defamatory” is a pretty wide term. Do any of you have experience with this kind of stuff? Any things us marketers who haven't been sued yet (knock on wood) should know?
