Thread: How Can People Do This To Each Other, The Cries Go Out, Can You Help Us Please!

I thought long and hard before I decided to post this link but after much debate internally I decided to go ahead and post it because some people need to see what war is all about. I've been there. I am retired from the Air Force. (Warning:) These pictures are very graphic and should not be viewed if you have a weak stomach. This is a far cry from the 6:00 controled News.

It is hard to understand why they would do something like this to each other. There are many reasons one could think of but none of them would be a legitimate reason as far as I'm concerned.

Can you then tell if it is possible to fire for SIX HOURS on a well marked UN post "by mistake", as the Israelis claim they did? Especially when the UN observers called the Israelis TEN TIMES asking them to stop and every time they were promised that so should happen.

I'm not Jewish, so don't accuse me of being prejudiced. But I'm getting sick of people always blaming the Jews when they try to defend themselves. Can anyone get through their thick skulls that Hezballah and Hamas and similar terriorist groups have sworn to inhiliate Israel and then come after the United States? What would you do if your neighbor next door continually harrassed you and encroached on your rights and privacy, even killing your chlidren and burning your home? Sure, Israel should not be in the position of having to do this to defend herself, but the fabulous, trustworthy United Nations will not enforce the rules that they made years ago, so Israel has no alternative.

The sad thing is that there are many wonderful Lebanese who are as much against these terrorists as we are. But they have no say in the matter. They are victims of their own leadership.

God says in His word that He will bless Israel to all generations and that He does not change His mind. No matter who tries to destroy Israel, he will have no success. We're at a very crucial time in the scheme of things. Our clocks are reaching the midnight hour. A tremendous day in which to live, but a very trying one also. Being prepared spiritually is our only recourse.

Funny, isn't it? Where a lot of people here (Belgium) consider Israel's counter attacks completely out-of-proportion, it's defense of their use of cluster bombs in civil area's unacceptable, their 'antisemitism' reflex to whatever critic they get hypocrit and their continuous references to the holocaust and other past crimes against them as an excuse for whatever they do more and more irritating... apparantly at the other side, for many Israeli's and their defendors it's a matter of life and death and by all means justifiable conduct for a continuously threatened country.
One of the - imo very painful - problems in (exchanging thoughts about) this conflict, is that the media 'inform' us in so different ways it's nearly impossible to get a neutral view on this matter.

You know it doesn't matter if jewish,christan, budists or whatever it still doesn't make it right. People are suffering and dying in the name of what! Something stupid......

Bultn, the answer to your question is yes. It has been done many time by mistake. During Vietnam many of our soldiers were killed by friendly fire and the only answere I can give you would be, they are casualities of war. Many family member here in this country have never been told the truth about how their son was killed in Vietnam. They were only told that he died in a fire fight.

Sorry Gator, I have to disagree with you. It' isn't for 'nothing'. Israel is fighting for her very life. These fanatical groups Hezballah and Hamas have sworn to aniliate Israel. It's sad, of course, that many innocents are injured and killed in the process, but that's the way it has always been. Who is crying and moaning about all the innocent Israeli's who have been murdered by the suicide bombers?
Who's screaming about the Israeli's who have been displaced to try to placate these inascable neighbors?

I'm not sure what it is that your disagreeing with but if you believe its ok to kill innocent men, women and children who have had nothing to with the reason behind this conflict then you don't know what your talking about.
