Why Oduduwa Republic cannot work (Confidential)

Before the amalgamation, intertribal wars, slavery, betrayals, rebellions, trouble and unrests, were common among the Yorubas... Too common

Even during the autonomous period of the Western Region, the trouble between Akintola and Awolowo was caused by themselves... And Yoruba's were burning houses of fellow Yorubas... That is 'Wet e'

Hausas and Igbos had no hand in that.

Whether we break away or not, the problems affecting us are ubiquitous..

Current Yoruba politicians are also guilty of what we are accusing the Federal government of... They are part of the problem.

We are very good at taking advantage of others.... And even if we break away. We will still have useless and greedy Yoruba politicians enslaving their fellow Yoruba's.

We are not looking at the problem within ourselves, and we are looking at the problems in the outside.

Remember the Animal Farm... Animals fight for freedom from men, but their own government turns out to be worse... Animals using and killing fellow animals, and eventually betraying fellow animals, by forming an alliance with men, whose rule they once said they didn't want.

Nigerians leaders said they didn’t want white rule, and attained independence and now they are sending their children to those white countries whose rule they didn’t want and going there themselves for medical checkups.

South Africa has benefitted from prolonged white rule, and the black are now ruining the country again.

If they got independence at the time we got it, South Africa would be worse than Sudan right now.

The American system of federal government we are currently practicing is what has put us in heavy debts. The USA itself is incurring at least, 5 trillion USD more debt every year.

The US official national debt is now over 29 trillion USD, and the unofficial debt is close to 200 trillion USD. Is that what we want?

In a few years’ time, Nigerian FG won’t be able to pay salaries again, unless they do something to turn the economy around....

The system of government we need is the kind practiced in Canada.

Let the central government divest itself of all the current responsibilities and take care of international trade, national defence and foreign relations only.

Let other regions become autonomous, generating their own revenues and taking care of their own affairs. Oduduwa would be a region, Biafra would be a region and so on, everyone with their own Premier, and regional laws and regional law enforcement. They will take care of their own affairs, all the personal affairs and infrastructure. Only that they cannot own an army or send ambassadors to other countries.

The central government has not business with education, health, agric, and so on... That is why they constantly find themselves in trouble, like strikes, and so on. Even the only roads they need to build are roads of national importance only, like ECOWAS roads leading ti at Idi Iroko, Badagry Road, Apapa Port Road, etc.

They should simply lay down rules and make it mandatory for regions to take care of their citizens like universal health, etc.

All these unnecessary burden will be lifted away from the FG government

That is what Canada is doing.
