Dear AFTF Volunteers:

This past week has marked a very, very exciting time for Aaron, AFTF and our volunteer organization.

As everyone should know by now, AFTF was launched on Google Video last Saturday, 10/21, and DVD sales began very late in the evening on Sunday, 10/22. In less that 2 days AFTF rocketed into the Google Video "TOP 100" and has been climbing ever since.

Aaron arrived in the "spiritual vortex" of Sedona Arizona two days later to participate in two solid days of some of THE most incredible series of screenings ever witnessed in the entire history of this movie adventure. Close to 500 individuals packed - standing room only - the theatre in Sedona. There were actually two theatres screening Aaron's movie at the same time and the word was that after the screenings people from both theatres gladly packed into one of them like sardines to hear Aaron talk during the Q & A session.

Just yesterday I was honored to visit and - with Aaron's final blessings - I hope to give a verbal "ok" on some office space in downtown Chicago where the first AFTF Volunteer Office will be launched in America.

Early this morning I got on the phone with Jim Capo, a member of the John Birch Society (JBS) <http://www.jbs.org/>, who is helping to organize a JBS National Council Dinner <http://www.johnbirchsociety.info/pages/councildinner.pdf> in Raleigh NC tomorrow. Jim and some JBS members throughout the south are working to organize the first official physical receipt of AFTF DVDs in the world from the factory of WTS Media in Chattanooga, TN later today. I am urging Jim to be sure to video this historic event. I am sure it's no "coincidence" that the John Birch Society <http://www.jbs.org/> was/is destined to be the first group of people in the world to receive the first shipment of AFTF DVDs. I have urged Jim to number each of these first 50 DVDs and sell them as collectors items to freedom/liberty loving patriots throughout the world to help Aaron/AFTF and the JBS cause.

Not to be outdown, "Garko" our lead AFTF Los Angeles Volunteer Coordinator, has organized THE first EVER AFTF action of what I would like to call "Civil Obedience To The Truth" in the "Gandhi Peace March" <http://matthew.zaadz.com/blog/2006/10/gandhi_peace_march_in_la_on_oct_28> in LA tomorrow, 10/28, which will mark the centenial of Mahatma Gandhi's first non-violent actions for peace. This parade will launch of a year-long series of international peace parades. See Garko's messages about this event below....

"Luke", one of our lead AFTF Volunteers in New York City just called me yesterday to tell me that there is so much interest in AFTF that he's putting together a "dual 9/11 & AFTF screening event" in a large church in lower Manhatten for this coming Sunday.

In addition to these events, we are in the process of securing a RAID server for our database requirements. Volunteers from around the country have stepped up to offer up a variety of talents and services, including but not limited to: web hosting, web design, email servers, co-location space, internet marketing services, etc. Our most pressing need right now is to get the time/energy of a competent web developer who can work directly with Aaron to help us turn America: Freedom to Fascism <http://www.freedomtofascism.com> into more of a forum for our upcoming plans for political activism nationwide.

We have a growing number of students at colleges and universities who are contacting us with great interest about screening AFTF to their professors and classmates. We have one of our first evangelical churches deep in the south that, this weekend, will be screening AFTF "in their church" after their Sunday services.

We're getting more and more contacts from volunteers in foreign countries who are stepping up to the plate to take very active roles in their countries/communities. AFTF Australia was our first foreign country to get on board a few months ago. AFTF Australia volunteers have been holding AFTF meetings/screenings for several weeks now. Yesterday, I just got a message from a 23 year old technology developer in Turku Finland who wants to translate and distribute AFTF throughout Finland. I have visited this young man's home town myself on two occasions in the past 19+ years and was thrilled to share with him my excitement about the prospect of Finland becoming the first foreign country to potentially premier the first foreign language version of AFTF, hopefully very soon. Here is what this young man wrote in response to my email response to him:

Parade for World Peace led by Gandhi

I got the banners delivered today and they are gorgeous.
I also got poles so we can hold the banners way up above the crowd and be easily seen.
I am printing off 1000 copies of a Federal Reserve fact sheet with this volunteer email address

And I am going to need 10 very enthusiastic people to get 20-30 signatures each on the
Shut Down the Federal Reserve petition.
This is our first instance of taking the message to the streets and comes
immediately after the Tremendous launch of AFTF on Google video (number 61 at the moment!)
We will be setting an example for all other AFTF groups across the country!

We're doing just that with our HARRISON ON THE EDGE HOLLYWOOD PEACE
PARADE, lead by his surviving 72 year-old activist grandson Arun
Gandhi. Mr. Gandhi studied at his grandfather's side from revolution
through revolt and Gandhi's tragic assassination in 1946.

With Gandhi at the head, we can show the world that Los Angeles, long
held as the entertainment capital of the world, can be the global hub
for the Peace Movement in the 21st century!

We're rolling out the "blue carpet" and bringing the 72 year old sage
to Hollywood where such an event has already caught the attention of
the United Nations Associations and with a personal message from it's
Secretary-General, Kofi Annan. Already, country after country have
signed on for a year-long seires of Peace Parades inspired by our
growing "ONE HUMAN FAMILY" campaign on the radio. The "Art Miles Mural
Project" and the "Art Miles Shoes" for orphans of HIV/AIDS and
Disarmed Child Soldiers have been of extraordinary assistance in
creating "peace shoes" and a series of gigantic hand-painted murals
for international public display. In 2007, we're already joined by:
Toronto, Canada; Alexandria, Egypt; Narnia, Italy; Paris, France;
Tijuana, Mexico; USD San Diego, California; Houston, Texas; Tokyo,
Japan; Ft Lahore, Pakistan and Vienna, Austria.

At his grandfather Mahatma Gandhi's side, the young Arun strived day
and night for peaceful change! It happened then, and with Arun Gandhi
as our guide, positive solutions will thrive NOW!

So here is the full schedule for Saturday...
AFTF LA Volunteer Coordination Breakfast and Meeting 9:30 AM

Hamburger Hamlet is doing something special for us.
I promised them at least 50 people since last time we had 70 (at our
first coordination meeting). They normally open at 11 AM but they have
agreed to open for us at 9:30 and serve an all you can eat buffet with
scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast, coffee and juice.
So we will have the space to ourselves until 11 AM and we will do some
coordination.
One key thing that is needed is people to get petitions signed before
and after the march, mainly after.
If you can help gather petitions (to shut down the federal reserve!)
then please bring a clipboard. I will have some but need more.
We also will have two 6'X3' banners to help make our group very
visible to TV cameras and the other marchers and pedestrians and cars.
One says "Want to Stop the War in Iraq? Shut Down the Federal Reserve"
and the other has a similar message.
THIS IS HISTORIC FOLKS! This is the very first act of civil
disobedience that our group has engaged in! It is just the first but
there will be many more but you will be able to tell your grandkids
that you marched with Ghandi in 2006 and were a participant in the
first ever civil disobedience with the organization that reversed the
darkness of fascism in America and sent us back on the road to
Constitutional freedom and GOT THE FEDERAL RESERVE SHUT DOWN!
The march starts at noon on Hollywood and Vine. We will march down
Hollywood with our banners to the starting point of the overall march!
