God is always in command of the situation, there's really no need to beg for anything. Someone once told me that prayer should be delivered in a spirit of gratitude, I think it's in the scriptures somewhere "it will be to you as you believe" or something like that -- I'm not familiar with the Bible in English.
Since I started to believe in God that has been the most frequent lesson... he's always in control.
I also perceive God to be the collective consciousness of everything in the universe... God s a great architect of events, she doesn't mess up :-) so when we're in some 'trouble' we must consider that we're not seeing the big picture like God is.
