He was certainly vocal enough about HA Lotto though.

I posted this 18-04-2006 and I say it again:

People are again starting to talk about hiring lawyers to get some answers from BNM. Of course, you can do whatever you want to, but remember that it has been done before, as reported elsewhere in this forum.

For the cost of a few thousand dollars they got the answer we all know: The investigation is still going on, and absolutely no legal action can be taken before it is finished.

The one thing that I would like too point out here is we are not talking about filing a law suite or taking any legal action. We just need a lawer to represent us as a group to insure that we get accurate information about the investigation and to insure when a decision is finally reached we are not left out when it come time devit out the money. I mean we need someone in our court when the ball is thrown in.

OK, let's say we hire a lawyer who for a small fee (a few thousand dollars) contacts BNM and asks them for information about the investigation.

BNM answers that the investigation is still going on and that they cannot give any information before it is completed.

    Then what?

    Talking

Then we have something new to complain and argue about on the forum!

    THEN,
We at least have first hand confirmation of that from a qualified person, not just hearsay. The attorney should not work out of his garage, but have an office and staff. The attorney should have his own account here, or better yet his own thread to update us with his/her findings. I can't pretend to explain how we would choose such a representative, but I am sure we have able bodies in our midst to filter out the crook lawyers. Sorry if I offended any member attorneys. For one thing, I would like to know for sure if there really is a "gag" order.

Instead of sitting down and posting what could be, why not contact a lawyer and ask?? lol

I already got a lawyer for another program which went upside down, once they are down I will ask them about PIPS and see how they can approach it.

    Very bad idea.
How you would feel if your action would create even more problems. Can you think for others instead just for yourself.

Let BNM finish their job and you will get answer that you are looking for.

    We need to think intelligently.

"We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth... Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those, who having eyes, see not, and having ears, hear not..?

For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it might cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know.. it -- now."

    - Patrick Henry, 1775.
