Reasons why negativity abounds.

Lets look at this realistically.

I agree we need to look at things positively- but no matter what, we must accept that there will always be that element of negativity due to the following reasons. If we accept this as being true we can better deal with it then wish it were not present at all.

* Some do not understand the difficulties present in starting large companies and see everything being presented by management as a stall tactic.
Others have been burnt in online programs before but dared to take the plunge again. However they now see events happening rather similar to the demise of other companies, not realizing that this is a completely different ball game.

* Management is making moves that defy logic to us the little people. This does not sit well with many. We are often left to speculate after the fact and this speculation is sometimes born out of anger.

* Confusion. We have a company that has not paid out for some months now and yet it is advancing in areas that clearly says the game is not over. We feel something is wrong and yet our logic also tells us this guy could have done a runner and why all the bricks and mortar companies?

* MOST IMPORTANTLY. We have on this forum, members whose only reasons for being here are to be THORNS in the feet of genuine members already limping with concern. These would-be Members wait for any sign of discontent to start uproar. Due to the wd issues these THORNS have the perfect breeding ground to create further bacteria.


* Regrettably we have members who are here only to tattle tale back to the tg forum everything thought of as ammunition. This being the case these so called member’s fuel one another’s hatred… breeding yet more hatred bringing them back here for more.

Why do these persons get off on causing pain? I suspect perhaps, due to wanting to fit in somewhere - and the need to find approval. Perhaps they don’t believe in Pips, and being validated by like-minded people makes them feel wanted. Some may be just plain spiteful. Yet again, others may be ex-members angry because they see the show as over and they have lost feeling powerless to re-coupe their funds and pride.

Folks while ever the human is free to feel and believe, as he will-he will. We can’t eliminate negativity. However we can know its there and yet determine that we shall not be moved from our state of joy no matter what. I understand many have large sums invested, but we are all in this together folks and together lets look forward and not be moved by another’s human frailties.

The ONLY reason that negativity abounds is the WD situation. Period.

That could be allayed by good communication, which we don't get. Acts like cancelling all merchant WD's so that nobody can get ANYTHING out now doesn't help. Especially when they don't tell anybody they are doing it, and still haven't made an announcement about it.

I used to be positive, now I'm negative. The actions of the lsat couple of days have pushed me over the edge and it'll take a lot (i.e. some money or some products in my hand) to bring me back.

Hear you, we're all feeling it, worse for Merchants, this forum is going downhill with the vibes being felt. Hold onto what little positiveness you have till we get an update in the next 3 days. :wink:

I know it's a bit of older news, but still postive. But on July 9, I received my merchant order #1601 from clear back on May 17. That's the most recent transaction I have had, which actually came to my doorstep.

I'm beginning to think how fortunate I was that the brilliant programmers never fixed the cannot buy more units with Mac/alternate browser problem which prevented me from putting in any more than the min loan amount.

I find this very ironic. Each time something comes along to alleviate the problem of not being able to access our funds because we cannot withdraw in a conventional way BM stops whatever it is:

Exchanging Picpay to honest friends - stopped.

Using Picpay to buy from merchants who have been verified -stopped.

Debit cards- stopped.

The billpaying system - stopped.

Always done in an arbitrary and arrogant way with no apology nor consideration given to members who have LENT their money. Always on the pretext that their are fraudsters everywhere. This merchants were supposed to be verified so why should we all suffer for just maybe, and only maybe because of one or two.

Well the record has stuck in the groove and the lack of originality is boring.

I have £1000 worth of UK vouchers pending from a highly reputable UK merchant whom I have met personally - he is no fraudster but a decent business man.

I think this latest debacle is an insult to our intelligence. I think it is time that our CEO made a proper announcenment to us all and put us in the picture once and for all. No more cloak and dagger and all lthis rubbish but straight talking and hard facts so at least we would all know where the company stands. To hell with the excuse that the trolls might have a field day, I believe many of them are actually disgruntled members who tend to be more vocal than others.

More communication would really help matters. Hopefully something sooner rather than later. I have a lot of friends and family members breathing down my neck because I introduced them to Pips. They were fully informed of the risks involved but somehow I'm the one that hears all of their rantings and ravings. So far I've been able to convince them to "keep hope alive" but it looks like this weeks devolpments may have pushed most of them over the edge.

I know that Bryan started Pips to help the little guy - but somehow it seems that's who is now hurting the most.

Why shouldn't BM be someone who does? Afaik P*P* is almost entirely for the little people.
But that doesn't make him a God Almighty providing all and immediate answers to P*P*'s problems and our needs.

It seems you know pretty sure what you are talking about. Still, it's more likely you know as little about the real issues as most of us do, so I leave these allegations on your account.

Freedom's right. We probably can't stop anyone from turning negative.
Btw, I also fully understand these are hard times when you have funded P*P* with money you can't miss (but allow me to consider this your human mistake about which you can't blame BM, as I see no way how he could have avoided this from happening at all when setting up such a program), or when you're a (decent) Merchant taking financial risks by trusting on the promised payment terms, or when you have people breathing down your neck.

But still I can't resist giving some reasons for remaining/getting positive... You might find some comfort in the fact that besides the delays, Pips hasn't ever proven more real than nowadays. And if BM & C° are ever to solve the existing problems, the only help they will have gotten from us won't be from people calling "you're cheating, I'm leaving" but from our continued support (or - I wish you patient - silence)...

Thats all true and bad enough.Now we have an incompleted 6 month investigation and a no go lotto.

i just find it amazing how most people wouild like for Bryan to say something once a week or month even....and we get all these responses from every body else how he can't...or will not..or its not for him to post till something positive happens....gee.....15 months now...anything positive happened in those months???...i don't think so....all i've ever heard is soon...light at the end of the tunnel...soon...soon.........even his lotto....5 hours.....tomorrow.....hmmmm..heard that b4 have'nt we..i 4 one don't give a damn abiout his lotto...but its still the same news...soom....soon....any time now.....my son is a computer programmer...ain't no server messed up that bad......sorry people....enuff is enuff.....IMHO...Pat

It amazes me that no-one understands - "its an investigation.... hello out there." There will be no conclusion or news for sometime yet....

Get over it, and wait..... It will simply fail or succeed. Im sure BM is doing all he can, its out of his and our hands, but Im sure hes working away in the background.

People just need to control their emotions and pray all goes well and get off BM case and give him space. There is no quick fix or answers. If we are up and running again within another 2 years, that will be a result and it maybe a realistic timescale, there is allot more red tape and structuring to overcome yet.

Sure we are hoping for good news soon and I hope so... but not likely to hear anything for sometime yet. The best to hope for is a post from BON as to why and what are the details of the investigation, and they wont do that until its concluded.
