People from Malaysian are not allowed to enter the programme because they are Muslims and their religion forbids them from any form of gambling or risk taking with finances.

When the UK lottery first started some years ago a chap form Blackburn, who was a Muslim won £17 million but he had to flee to his village in Pakistan because he was not supposed to keep the money, in the end he had to give most of it away to the mosque or so we were told.
