Looks impressive, yet in reality it was poorly managed (i.e. lack of communications, lack of staff support, etc). If pips was a billion dollar company, why did mr. ceo tried to do everything himself (or it appears to be so)?

Nobody seems to remember what caused the non-payment problems.
There were allegations made by a few people to the HSBC of money laundering going on. HSBC was the main bank account. HSBC without warning closed the PIPS account. PIPS was unable to open another bank account with a major bank because when the new bank would do their due diligence, they would turn up the money laundering allegations.
The people making the allegations did so during November and December. Their timing was precise since that caused HSBC to close the account right before Christmas when lots of members wanted to make withdrawals for the holidays.
Then when PIPS was unable to pay, the same people plus others began to allege to various authorities that PIPS was a scam. The UK authorities investigated and found nothing wrong and said it was up to the local authorities in Indonesia. The Australian authorities said the same thing. The individual states in the USA basically only opposed the 5-year trust plan which
    PIPS had discontinued.
We are still waiting for the local authorities in 'edit' Malaysia to finalize their investigation.

    Maxie,

Thanks for shining a light on this matter and making in plain for all to understand.

What BM is trying to do is set people free by empowering them econically.
Whenever someone comes along and gives people this opportunity to come
from under the oppressive thumb of the status quo, needless to say,
they will be undermined and brought down at any and all costs.

How dare BM give those of us who are economic slaves or oppressed the keys to our freedom.

If they will do it to sovereign countries - what makes you think that BM wasn't targeted?

Wake up people, smell the coffee...

    Memories,

Ahhh yes, I remember well, just as if it was yesterday. LOL That is the sad part, it was for this reason I believed Bryan as I have a friend who was head of security division for HSBC in NYC and he confirmed account was closed for what they called, a boiler room operation, being polite termonology for scam. So when this was verified, it was obvious it wasn't Bryan's doing, but then again, why did speedy wallet not get funded? So many unswered questions? (g)

    Good luck to all, Mike

The problem with speedywallet was that each account had to be funded one by one. Each withdrawal had to be processed singlehandely (first HSBC then EON until they got swamped by phonecalls) and one by one (manually). Since there were some people withdrawing daily (some even nickels and cents) the withdrawal procedure got clogged. It was suggested to open an account and make one large deposit which should have worked like a "blanket" (that was the term used back then) to cover all the withdrawals. Negotiations with speedywallet were hampered by speedywallet asking more money (since they ask a monthly fee which for a lot of accounts wasn't paid for in months, they wanted money up front too) AND for this to work it was necessary to open a fund in the US which back then wasn't a wise thing to do. (PATRIOT Act and so on).
Another thing, speedywallet didnt get funded directly but indirectly through picpay. That was a bottleneck which had as a workaround that each account would be hard-connected to your speedy wallet. The above story should make more sense now.
