Ambassaden møtte torsdag 2. mars Mazlan bin Ahmad i Bank Negaras Special Investigations Unit for å diskutere Pips/Pureinvestor.

I just did the ol' translate from Norwegian to English on the net.
As far as I'm concerned, same old speculation as normal.
Seems like old news anyway.

A hand made translation
Hello all!
Here comes my "hand made" translation.
Of course this is not perfect either, because English is not my native language. I have tried to use a good dictionary and my best skills though, so please don't flame me if you find any translation errors!
In my own opinion it would not be a very wise thing to start a private prosecution against Bryan now, it would only slow down the investigation done by Bank of Negara. OK, here it comes:
Embassy met Thursday 2. March Mazlan bin Ahmad in Bank Negara’s Special Investigations Unit to discuss Pips Pure Investor.
Ahmad confirmed that the investigation of Pips Pure Investor has been transferred to Bank Negara’s prosecution unit. This unit examines the investigation documents prior they sending them to the Attorney General's Officer who will make a prosecution if necessary.
The investigation at Pips began in august 2005.
Special Investigations Unit has investigated whether it has been found breach at a number of laws, among these Illegal deposit taking (illegal banking), breach at Banking and Financial Services Act, Payment Systems Act and Anti Money Laundering Act.
Authorities have confiscated unspecified belongings of Bryan Marsden and his wife.
To a question whether these properties was accordant with the loan funds owned by the PIPS investors, the answer was negative.
Ahmad presumed that approx. 200.000 investors, among these Malaysian investors, has loans in Pips.
They could not say when a possible prosecution against Bryan Marsden will start.
Ahmad was hinting that Norwegian investors might consider hiring a local lawyer to look at the possibility for a prosecution against Bryan Marsden. This should nevertheless weigh up against the indication that the Malaysian authorities did not confiscate any bigger assets belonging to Marsden.
Kindly get in contact if you have any further questions. Yours faithfully XXXXXXXXXX Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.Last edited by pips4fun; 07-03-2006 at 05:08 AM.

So this is nothing new. Investigation is ongoing. No final decisions made so far regarding possible court trials.

The same old song. Same tune, same melody albeit in Norwegian this time! Let's just wait until the dust clears. Suing BM, what will that achieve. Listen up people, we got to ride it out.
Take your mind off PIPS, I have thanks to YB and Nanni. I am now what I call a Lunch Money Investor. PM me. I want to know about opportunities and new friends!
Mucho Gracias!

Well Videokid,
If the Norwegian Embassy person met a spokesperson from the BON...
In what language did they communicate...?
As I find it hard to believe that it would be in Malaysian...I would figure it would be in English...
And if you sent a letter to the Norwegian Embassy in the first place...
where is YOUR letter...
Why I'm asking is of course as you start with "Til XXXXXX XXXXXXX"
as if it were a letter to xxxxx xxxxxxx...then there is only a summary of their conversation...
Why not post YOUR letter in the first place?
Further...IF you wrote a letter you would for sure get an answer...
Why don't post the answer...as the person did regarding the Swedish Embassy?
Finally...why would a person from the BON bother to answer ANY questions at all when the BON on it's official website have posted an ANSWER because of "There has been peoople contacting them regarding this issue"...
I'm sorry...this doesn't look very believable to me...
Just a thought...
