Default My humble understanding of pips

fellow pipsters, this is my feelings about the programme and let me say from the start that I am and always have been a suporter of Bryan, I think even now with the problems that he is honest and trustworthy and has high integrity.
When I first met Bryan and heard him speak he told the audience the story of how his father was a miner and retired with virtually nothing to show for his life underground. Bryan who started off as a miner decided not to go down the same path. He knew that if a person had money there were opportunities for them to grow their wealth, but he wanted to find a way for the average person to start with a small amount and build it to provide for their older years and this was why he started pips. He did not block anyone from investing(loaning) more than the minimum, it was open to all.
I can imagine when he started he needed a bank account to pay everyday expences such as wages, power, phone etc. so there had to be an element of profit for him as well as the investors, so he set up account number 1.
Obviously account number 2 was needed to hold the payments that members asked for and Pic pay was created.
In the early days withdrawals were being made through the HSBC, this maybe where the first mistake was made, perhaps other banks should have been involved to spread the load, because when HSBC got nervous and pulled the plug Bryan had nowhere to go. Once the word spread through the banking circles no one would touch it hence the idea to start his own bank.
So everyone clamoured for their money and the complaints started the BON investigation. The bank accounts were frozen and the servers seized.
Now to my conclusion and the reason why I still beleive it will come back. The whole system relied on the money being invested and the bank accounts would have been kept to the minimum except for Pic Pay, which although frozen I think will still be there.
As Bryan had invested the members money in various place in the world by Forex, commodities and other means to produce the result he wanted, he would not have had the opportunity to realise these investments and why should he want to anyway, so for the last six months OUR monies have still been invested some where and when the investigation is over Bryan knows he will be able to realise the assets and reinvest them and start again.
Thats why he can confidently say we will be back and no you will not start from scratch.
I am sure that my opinion will be decried by some but it is what I feel and I will be patient and trust Bryan when BON has finished.

Totally agree. When all of this is over and the truth finally emerges, I think we will all be in for a nice surprise.

As for Owen Platts book, Numbers on a Screen, I'm sure glad there were heaps of numbers on my screen, or did I just dream that I went to the Convention in Hawaii, Business Class airfairs return from Australia, heaps of numbers from the ATMs via my Picpay Card. Did any other Pipsrers have a similar "dream" to me.

I do know that I did not dream talking to GN while he was telling me some of his dark side. I wont print details here, but it will be interesting to see the outcome of the BN investigation and if he gets a mention in it.

I do have a suspicion though that Bryan found out what was happening with his business long before the bank intervened and that he set a few people up for this investigation. If you all remember back he was asking the bank to do an audit for a few months before they actually did come in.

    I too, agree.

Its funny what can be 'seen' when one opens up the mind...just abit! We begin to see things....a little bit different...with some different shades and colors! Not so dark and gloomy! We begin to remember things about different people and 'things' they said to us.

PIPS was NEVER set to harm...anyone! Even those it once trusted. I continue to hold positive thoughts for Bryan, Sharon and us all!!

pardon me for asking why picpay payment delay for so many months???

this is the reason people complaint and pips raided by bon.

Is this delay start soon as picpay payment gateway launched???

I remember the exact same thing. The audit was to weed out the frauds and straighten out things so the banks would do business with pips again (and among other things, the restucturing).

Just part of that bumpy road.
