I sure hope they sell fish and chips up there, you bet I will miss those ;)
I dont understand one jot about this pyramid idea Largo.
Could you explain the principle a bit more indepth.
You quote from a paper and I dont understand some of the terms used.
Well I do, but in a different context.
If science could explain gravity, or even magnetism we might be on to something, but they cant. A lot of science is theory only.
Lets take electricity. For a current to flow in a wire a potential difference must exist between both ends such that electrons flow from a negative source to a positive one; that is, one atom looses an electron to its neighbour, and grabs the next available free one to maintain equilibrium. Yet science says current flows from positive to negative?? Whatever, going further, a flow of electrons, or an electric current, produces a magnetic field at right angles to the plane of the wire. Varying the current produces an alternating magnetic field. An AC current for example produces such a field and vica versa.
Taking a radio transmitter then, the frequency of the station, if it is a domestic outlet, may be found on the radio dial at say 208 metres.
I wont work out the frequency, suffice to say the transmitting arial produces two waves, an electomagnet wave and the other which is of no interest here.
When you talk about electromagnetic waves I was wondering what was the source of those because I only know of atmospheric disturbances that would cause such phenomina, such as ionised water particles. However the wavelengths fall into the low thro extremely high frequencies, only measurable by instruments within the disturbance itself and certainly not earthbound. Atmospheric noise is just that, no electomagnetic component, you can hear it quite distinctly if you mistune your medium or longwave radio receiver. You would call it static and in truth that is all it is.
I was wondering about the resonators in your pyramid also. What exactly is their purpose? They cannot produce or intercept any worthwhile climatic change parameters, such as weather patterns or ozone layers without some considerable power source to make those resonators oscillate, but I guess it depends on the frequency also, which throws up more doubts as to the feasability of such a project.
You will certainly have to delve more deeply into your subject Largo my friend, but very interesting and I certainly want to learn more. :)
Keep it coming please.
