Angry "Look What PIPS Did To ME"

I am so sick of hearing that statement! How can anyone justify their attacks and complaints against Bryan and PIPS for loosing so much money in PIPS that now they are experiencing a great hardship? The web site was very clear that money could be lost and EVERYONE was warned, “DO NOT PUT IN MORE THAN YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOOSE”. Anyone who put in more than they could afford to loose has no right to complain. They were fully warned. Why would a person put in more than they could afford to loose? GREED! We all knew the risk going in. I lost big time but I blame no one but myself. The bottom line is, if you put in more than you could afford to loose, you have no one to blame but yourself. Even in the meetings with Bryan he always stressed do not put in more than you can afford to loose. I know no one twisted my arm or held a gun to my head. I chose to take the risk…..I put the money in……I did it and I take full responsibility for my actions. I don’t buy the naive game that people are playing saying they really didn’t understand the risk. Bryan made it very easy on everyone so there was no need to take a big risk when he allowed members to participate with only $450. But greed raised its ugly head and we gave into temptation. We all knew better but the greed factor clouded our judgment. If you say, "it wasn’t greed on my part", then you are only fooling and deceiving yourself. I dare say that many reading this has already lost money in other ventures since PIPS went off line. Many of us are risk takers. If you take the risk, take it like an adult and accept responsibility for your actions and stop blaming everyone else for your decision when things go wrong in the high yield arena. Or better yet, don't play the game if you are not going to use wise judgment. If PIPS comes back, I will use much more discretion the second time around.

    Default a matter of trust.

I for one am not "whining", I did not invest more then I should've. But, he asked us to trust us and we did. Now a days, it's best not to believe in anyone or trust anyone, especially with money because they will just take you for a ride.

You can say that again! What a ride we've been on.

    Default We're not greedy!

PIPS was a chance for my family and I to get ahead, so my money plus my sibs plus my parents comes to a lot of money. Money we could not afford to lose but could not afford not to take a chance. So where does greed figure in wanting better medical attention, a college education, putting a roof over our heads (living in rented cramp and uncertainty) and not to mention amounting debts.... please. There is a motivation more than greed. It is called trying to make a better life, however if this makes me greedy then..............

Just for the record, I have been always a supporter. Check my posts! No whines or grumbles. Just saying what I feel.

To Bryan, chin up and redouble your efforts. Hang in there.
Marek and co, keep up the good work.
My fellow pipsters, pray and keep the faith. What else do we have.

theBat$ is not a whining troll.

What happened to us or rather, affected us, is little in comparison to the many that I just don't want to compare.... it's a good thing we did not fully commit for our part, into signing the purchase deals for two new Villas (2x) in Portugal after we sell one of ours... However, we also came to realised, we did NOT need to acquire after all...at our age in the 50's, travelling as planned by a regular routine per season is ironic to go get two more when we will only end up staying there for a few weeks only aa time per year...

But losing almost 20K is a bitter pill to swallow however, we surpassed that pain last spring...and a year since, if didn't feel that painful anymore becoz life goes on and being resourceful...the pinch hurts far less.

I hope, many of you will quickly recover soon and snap out of the gloom with a positive surge to new frontiers...there is sooo much opportunities out there, GO FOR IT so that coming Christmas is something worthy to rejoice to...

I got my all money back from PIPS, it just wasn't enough to keep going. I'm still looking forword to see more, just don't no when. Trying other things, but so far nothing great or even close to great.

Thebat$....I think you stated very well what was true for many people who put money into Pips...especially when you said, "Money we could not afford to lose but could not afford not to take a chance." Everyone had different needs or desires motivating them, but many, like you, merely wanted a better life....able to care for medical needs, help family members, help others. Not everyone wanted the mansion and the yacht and the leer jet.... Pips was especially alluring because of Bryan's charisma, the tremendous hope that was built up for everyone, and the fact that for quite awhile, it all appeared to be very possible, (not forever, but at least for long enough for a lot of people to make large amounts of money), and it was paying very well for quite some time. When it stopped, not only did many people feel they most likely lost a lot of money, but even for those who got their initial investment back (which I did and I am thankful), dreams were crushed and that is very hard also. We can all point fingers and judge each other and accuse people who are angry and hurt now, that they were greedy, but that is so unfair. As you said, Thebat, many joined, like you, merely to get out of poverty and despair and constant financial struggle....when was that ever "greed"?

What a ridiculous statement and it seems soooo many have lost site of what has really happened. On August 15th, 2005, the day before the servers were confiscated and the site taken down, WE WERE ALL SUPPOSEDLY PROFITABLE, NO LOSS! The real question is the BN freeze and investigation. What is the investigation about? What was the purpose of them stepping in? Nobody has ever gotten a real or proven beyond a reasonable doubt answer. Are they investigating because they were alerted to wrong doings in business or banking or what? NOBODY KNOWS what the real reason is or was. Just what we have been told by someone else.

NOBODY here seems to know whether the servers really were conficated for sure... its all been words we have been told. There is speculation that they are investingating money laundering, or a scam or a ponzi or a million other BS assumptions. NOBODY seems to have any real hard core facts.

The only fact I KNOW, as do all of us is, that on August 15, 2005 we all had a lot of money in our accounts. That means it is still there somewhere, if in fact, the ROL was reflecting real money and not ficticious computer generated numbers. That being the case, these continuously stupid comments about, "you all knew the risks of losing money..." according to everyone's ROL on August 15, 2005, there were no losses. Was all the money lost in less than 1 day? Show me where we lost money and the accounts were reduced even 1 penny!

One of two things is happening here. Either the money really was there or it wasn't. If it was there, it still IS somewhere and we will eventually get it. If it wasn't there, then we got scammed. If we got scammed, then we can certainly blame and go after whomever is responsible. Bank Negara isn't going to steal our money unless something was done wronfully to have all the funds seized, similar to how the FBI or DEA can seize property, accounts, money and everything they can from a drug dealer. That too would have responsibility and ownership of blame on the people who ran PIPS, not on ourselves for investing. We don't KNOW why, for sure, what the investigation is all about, how long it's going to take etc.

There are no 2 ways about it, no gray areas. Cut and dry, either the money was there or it wasn't, period, the end!
