One of the most ridiculous statements and subsequent replies were those that mentioned "outside intervention" to keep the little guy down! Why is it every thread and it's posts always get spun, twisted and make quantum leaps of conclusion jumping based on nothing? And finally, the post that says, "you don't go to a Casino and then expect to always win and never lose... blah blah blah..." Have we lost anything because of investments gone bad? If so, was it all lost in 1 day?
The thing NOBODY is saying here is this: The day before the servers were confiscated and the site went down (August 15,2005), ALL OF OUR ROL WAS SHOWING MONEY IN IT! According to our ROL, we didn't lose a dime and in fact, also according to our ROL, we were all money ahead, and some of us, like me, were $500,000.00 + ahead (I have $41,000 at stake here). I, unfortunately didn't get to withdraw any, but NOBODY was even at a break even! So if our money is/was there, how can those of you that say, "it's a risk of loss, blah blah blah..." On August 15, 2005 my ROL wasn't showing a loss, was anybody else's? Again, was it all lost the next day or is it still there? Or another possibility is, it never was there, which I don't want to think about... that would devestate me! Dear GOD, I hope and pray that isn't the case.
I am a supporter of Bryan and his vision and everything else and will NOT cast a stone in his direction whatsoever, but to lambast Marek, in my opinion, was dead wrong and pretty astonishing! Bryan, like all of us, is human and makes mistakes. Marek, like all of us is human too, and deserves a public apology, since he was scolded publically.
If Bryan is unable to tell us what is going on because he can't, by gag order, or because he has been instructed as such (as he has stated in many posts) is one thing. That doesn't mean we don't have the right to be informed from any other source other than from Bryan? I have said this in a previous post, what if, GOD forbid (and I mean this with all my heart), Byran had a heart-attack and died? Does that mean we would never know or be allowed to know the information about all of this?
From the investigation standpoint, if everything is OK and there was no wrong doing, then INFORMATION DOES NOT NEED TO BE HIDDEN! and Bryan should want us to know the things he is not allowed to tell us. That would be great news and would form a wonderful solidarity between us all, and then we could be impatiently waiting with the knowledge that we will get our money and it is not gone!
If there was some wrong doing somewhere along the line, then it probably wouldn't be good information to get out to the investors, unsecured loaners or whatever the hell you want to call us. The reason for not contacting BN (Bank Negara) or BOM (Bank of Malaysia, which are totally interchangeable terms by the way, but BON isn't correct... just to argue symantics) given is because it will slow up the investigative process. I seriously doubt that Marek's call brought the investigation to a screeching halt!
As I said earlier, I support Bryan and what he has done and hopefully is doing, but getting pissed at Marek is just as ridiculous as the guy who comes home early from work and catches his wife in bed with his boss, and the boss gets pissed and fires him for leaving work early!
I think Marek did the right thing, because somebody had to get us, the actual PIPS membership some answers. Bryan is an important man, but he isn't more important than any one of us individually, let alone collectively as human beings. Each of us has the same value and we shouldn't be raising a man, a great man perhaps, to the level of someone to be worshiped or followed unconditionally. Only GOD gets that from me!
Even the greatest man in the world is just a man, and as such has human frailty and as all humans, we are sinners... not deities. I will trust and believe in my fellow man with all my heart, until given a reason not to do so. So far, and I hope it never comes to this, I trust and believe in what Bryan is all about. The bottom line, whomever the information comes from is irrelevant, as long as it is the truth. We all deserve and have the right to the truth. We all deserve, and have the right to KNOW!
