    Default When "hope" becomes denial

    Dear all,

Is it really better to “just wait” and “hope”? Or are you in deep denial? There are many advantages/personal payoffs to denial. The main one is: you avoid having to admit to yourself that you made a mistake, that somebody fooled you, that you trusted the wrong person…Another is that you don't have to look truthfully at the actions you took and words you spoke along the other way involving others, including being so dismissive, disrespectful and mean-spirited to all those who just tried to ask questions, find out the truth, then got frustrated and upset.

Just like Bryan blames everybody and everything else for all the endless setbacks, technical problems, conspiracies, etc…... those who say they are sticking to their “faith” in him, and faith that everything ELSE is to blame should consider whether they are dealing in “blind faith,” which, as we know, can get you killed. If so, they are only delaying the day of reckoning with their own conscience. Never mind having to admit to others that you are wrong! Nobody expects you will. The key to denial is: one doesn’t have to admit fault to oneself. And it’s wonderful to have fellow addicts around for a support system, the blind leading the blind…

Come off it! It is obvious to any objective observer that PIPS ran almost completely out of money in December 2004 (save for a short burst around March to save face for the Hawaii cohnvention) – mainly due to the fact that so many people had begun buying new positions with PICPAY instead of real cash, pocketing new members’ money locally; in other words, PIPS was undone by a strategic error on the part of Bryan and the members’ own greed and lack of confidence in what many already knew was a pyramid scheme.

People will run out to say that I have “no proof” but there is a plethora of evidence: no money, that’s a big one. Rather than some giant worldwide conspiracy and hundreds of defections and technical problems, every twist and turn of PIPS can be easily explained if one sees it as a ponzi. Of course each has its own special variations, but on a basic level it is no different from hundreds before it. People say it is totally different. Why, because it held conventions? Big deal, lots of previous scams – maybe not Internet ones but let’s remember that pyramid schemes are as old as money itself – held conventions, met face to face with their victims (by the way, those were held to recruit new members as well as to “wow” you and stroke your egos, but because of PICPAY and other phoney baloney money, it didn’t work); why, because Bryan wanted his members to become rich? Of course he did! That’s how ponzis work (or at least they try to make you believe they do); because they had offices, phone numbers, etc.? So what, that is right in line with many a ponzi. And, can you call them now? … Because they tried to start their own bank? Classic sign of a ponzi in a close-to-failure state. Because they hopscotched around the world? Clear sign of somebody on the run. Reminds me of the stories of soap flakes factories people used to set up on the outskirts of Midwestern US towns in the early 1900s… Because they tried to start “legitimate” bricks and mortar businesses? Hey, the mob does that, too (only they tend to do it well) Bryan did it with your money, either to add a veneer of legitimacy to his scam or just to cash out on members money by using it to set up companies in his own name. Does it matter? They are gone, too.

Ask yourself, was there ever any hard evidence that Bryan “invested” any of your money in forex or anything other than other ponzis? Or gave to charities for that matter? Are you sure? Do you know about international finance, real estate, etc., to know that it is possible for BM to have been making more than 2 percent a day on your money? There is only one way known to man/woman that this can be done, and it always works to build “incredible” profits, for awhile: ponzi.

And so what else, PIPS was done in by a worldwide conspiracy of banks, regulators and prosecutors to “keep the little man down”? Come on, get real! Either all of that utter nonsense is true, like prosecutors all over the world being crooked (now that’s quite an accusation, just glossed over here!) and in cahoots or else “not enlightened” enough to understand that BM is the messiah of new age finance, or just one thing is true, and most of you are beginning to realize what that is. That just one person once again organized a massive pyramid scheme, because, hey, ya know, they work and they work well. I am sorry, though, it’s much too late. All the money is gone….

And then comes HA Lotto, which is based on the most cynical thing of all, addicting people to gambling and get-rich-quick multilevel schemes. Really a dim view of people, I’d say. And now what, the savoir has left you in the dust…. Or was caught violating terms of his arrest? Sooner or later, we’ll all learn the sad truth, and it won’t be very glamorous. No take-down of a billion dollar business by crooked governments; just the end of the line for a broken scammer.

Meantime, cheerleaders are building their club here on a foundation of false hope, with mirrored walls made of thick denial, and for a few perhaps just an ounce of deception. They only want to see and hear from people just like them, to keep out the truth as long as possible. They have their tandem tag team worked out beautifully, with syrupy sweet-talking "good cops" and the dreaded, club wielding "bad cops" (the mod squad).

Only problem is, it’s one-way glass and all those on the outside can see in very well. From outside the picture is very sad. We would like to help you. But you won’t listen. That is why I haven’t tried before and won’t ever again. Trust me! This may be overly long but on the other hand I won't bore you with hundreds of posts (if this gets deleted I will post it at TG, your nemesis, where anybody can contact me further through pm) We would like to keep you from going on and getting victimized by the next scam. I hope and pray most will not. But some will -- addiction to denial itself is the hardest of all to break. Like gambling, there is no “substance dependence” – it is all psychological.

Finally, to those who justify PIPS on religious or spiritual grounds, you do a disservice to those honourable, wonderful and truly miraculous traditions and processes. Those ideals and practices, including faith (in God, in *******, in ordinary people), thinking positive, creating your reality, etc. are real, powerful, I totally agree they work, and will serve your life and, especially, your spiritual needs. When people try to mix spirituality with money-making, however, most of the time it fails. Look at the results Bryan Marsden has brought to his life, for all his supposed ideals? Do you really need more evidence than that? Besides you are talking about "creating the past" -- that is, whatever happened with PIPS has already happened; not many spiritual disciplines (only one I know of) believes in changing the past.

Money is the currency of people, the stuff that makes the world go around, but an imperfect medium; even though in reality there is plenty in the world for everybody, animal instinct greed and insecurity gets in the way: Love; on the other hand, is the currency of souls and all the universal rules apply and work very well with that. Unfortunately, there's far too little sometimes.

When it comes down to it, lies are complicated and only get more so as time goes on, if one tries to build on them; love and truth are always simple.

As I said in my only other post, in the thread on emotions, the best way out of this is humility.

Good bye and best of “luck.” I bear no malice to anybody here, only trying to help in a truthful way. May your most wonderful dreams and best intentions manifest without delay on your path in a way that serves you and all around you best.

    SoulSurfer

PS another reason not to “just wait”: if you really were scammed by Bryan, do you want to sit back and DO NOTHING while the authorities decide on his punishment? Think about it.

soulsurfer.... don't be a hopeless thinker. without hope.... you have only despair..... and it is not kind to try to rob others of their hope..... if you are indeed hopeless... then go... and leave us ours.... mine is precious to me.... not just my hope in Pips... but in everything good.

sorry... but you won't steal my hope .....
and if anyone else needs some... I have enough to go around... just let me know.....

count your blessings! Life is good!

    no doubt.

'There are no hopeless situations, only people who think hopelessly.'

(yikes... that long post is worse than a poorly written romance novel... I haven't the patience to read either one..... I'm 'skipin it' and goin to play with my dogs... life's too short )

    Hi SoulSurfer

You sure know how to speculate :)

When it comes down to it you know nothing, but you draw your conclusions on speculations anyway.

You get to feel bad upfront. Great. (if you're wrong... you felt bad for no reason)

I like facts. I'll wait for them and they will come.

    Nice Try SoulSurfer…

    BUT…we don’t buy it!!!
So many generalities and backwards logic maybe fit into TG’s way of thinking…
Over here in Pipsland…we call this “Thinking in a BOX”…no matter how “Logical or Reasonable” you think your message is…which it isn’t btw…We just don’t buy it…

All you are doing is try to smear and defame BM by “Talking Reasonably” with us “Poor Souls”…(who actually don’t have to SURF to find our SOULS) of how BAD he is and his POOR past performance…this is a tactic used before in history…the most flagrant example would be Hitler BAD TALKING the Jews, Gypsies and other Lower Life Beings…

We the Pipsters DO think by our selves and we all make our decisions based on our trust in our leader…BECAUSE of his compassion for helping the very needy…BECAUSE of his brilliance in creating such a thing as Pips…AND for His Past performance in this area…
QUITE a CONTRARY picture then what you’re suggesting to us as the REALITY…

So…please don’t bother to come here again…we SEE THROUGH YOUR veneer…
Go and find some souls to save over at TG…maybe even your own…?

    Sorry…
    We Don’t buy your story…

Well, I for one have hope without getting my hopes up. I'm not worried about it because I know somehow whatever happens everything will be ok... Don't get me wrong I've had my anxious moments but I do feel like there is always a way to take care of your life's problems and I do mean facing them head on...

For now, we do have to wait, but we won't wait forever!
    And that is the truth!
    :)

Not sure what exactly you think he 'nailed to the tree' but where I stand it looks more like something flung against the tree...

Just looks like more TG baloney.
