PIPS Support ticket system problems: info?

This topic is meant in addition to John Christopherson's similar thread about the ongoing support ticket system problems.
Does anyone know (or can somebody who calls the helpdesk for some reason ask them) and report here
1. if P*P* support is aware of this problem;
2. if any entered tickets are processed... As I have my doubts: when the database is corrupt, I guess it's a mission impossible to seperate the good from the bad ones;
3. what their advise is... E.g. 'don't use it anymore untill further notice';
4. if they are working on a solution and if so, do they have a time frame?
